Joy Weaver sent me the list that she had from the old Liberty church records so I was glad to enter them in. She said there were a couple of other old cemeteries around that general area. Joy is quite the historian of the Liberty area and the driving force behind the Jefferson Township High School Alumni Association. Are you local to the Dayton area? If not, send me an email and I can attach some old Liberty church records that another long-time member, Doris Marker, put together. Maybe there will be mention of your relative there. Warm Regards, Sally
ps.Unfortunately all the tombstones from the cemetery were removed whenthe addition to the church and the parking lot were put in. My father told me this and Joy confirmed it.

You're welcome. I noticed also and figured the headstone people had not been advised of the need. I've actually seen that same situation 2 times in the last 3 weeks.

It is very easy to find. You go to the Beech Fork camp grounds
( http://www.beechforksp.com/location.html ) Turn in to go inside the entrance of the camping area. Go straight and you will see a sign on the right that says Bowen Cemetery. The Booton Cemetery is located inside the Bowen cemetery. When you make it up the hill drive left to the American flag. Walk downward on the hill to the right and you will see the stone I provided as a picture for their f.a.grave site. There are multiple cemeteries locaed in there. I remember seeing a Blankenship cemetery in there as well as others.
I appreciate the help. I have contacted the Morris funeral home before and didn't get much help from them. I got an email giving me some information on where it may be located at.

I seen you creted a memorial for Asa Booton at the Bowen cemetery located by the camp grounds in Wayne. He had a son nmamed Asa as well 1815-1878. He is listed as being buried in the Booton Cemetery. I have been told that the Booton cemetery is now called the Bowen cemetery. Do you know if this is true or not? If not, do you know where the Booten Cemetery is located. F.A.G's direction for it is awful.
