Thank you very much for taking the photo. From 1992 to 1999 we lived in Paonia. At that time, I did not know I had 'cousins' living in the area. Thanks for doing this.

No problem---this cemetery is very close to my house. I wasn't sure if "Minnie" was the same one you were looking for?

a few more facts on her profile . . .
Yes, you may use whatever you need.
I went out today and found the Fries markers it said Section 14 Lot 120, Calvary has it listed as Anna, Valentin and an Edward. in one row I found Mary Anna her stone isn't in the best shape next to her is supposed to be Valentin I'll fill the request, the marker is right nest to Anna and supposed to be Val's it's worse shape, Edwards was so smooth it couldn't be read. John in is front of them with no marker.

I believe you stated that you were related to John M Fries through your mothers side? I too am related to him from my fathers side. We have his(John Fries's) fathers oil painting spurs, sword, and revolver that he used during the Mexican-American War(he died as a result of dysentery that he picked up in Mexico and returned to Ohio) and a painting of Napoleon that he brought from Europe(before immigrating to Dayton, Ohio he fought in Napoleon's army). My dad and I just went to the Alamo and the Menger Hotel yesterday 11/29/13 to do some research about John Fries since he did the Alamo renovation in 1850 and was the architect for the Menger. I live in College Station, Tx and my dad lives in Magnolia, Tx. We just learned about John about a year ago and his shipwreck off of Galveston around 1846(8)? before he moved to San Antonio and worked. We have been looking for all info about him and any artifacts related to him to bridge the gaps. My dad is now retired and knows alot more about him. My dads email is email@example.com mine is firstname.lastname@example.org
