Would you please consider transferring her memorial to me? She's my great-grand aunt and I would like to get her full information recorded and get her linked to her parents.

Thank you,

Infant Scott

I have just realized that you have a record of an Infant Scott in the Cherry Cemetery with the birth date 26 Sept 1895 and death date of 16 Nov 1896. This child was Ollie B. Scott according to the book, Descendants of Jessie Shelton, by Cecil and Louise Shelton.

This child was from the marriage of Hiram Alexander Scott and Nancy Ann Shelton. Your note says "daughter of M.A. and N.A. Scott" - I have always had the child listed as a son. Ollie was a common name for both back then. I would be interested to know if the stone said daughter. The book doesn't specify daughter or son.

Also could you change the parents name to Hiram Alexander and Nancy Ann Shelton Scott. If the stone was inscribed with initials, the "H" may have looked like a "M".

I am going to request a photo of the headstone to see what the inscription says.

Thanks for all the work you have done in the Cherry Cemetery - just about all of the Simpsons, Youngs, and Scotts buried in the Cherry Cemetery are my ancestors.
