Dr. Hewett
Hello,

Saw the picture and write up you have on Dr. Hewett. Would it be alright for us to copy it, to be put into the Fairfax High School, Fairfax, Missouri Alumni records?

Thank You,
Sherry

Correction Re: Gen. Daniel Morgan Bio. - Find A Grave Memorial# 2755
Hello,

I noticed in your Bio. for Gen. Daniel Morgan Find A Grave Memorial# 2755, you had the Battle of Cowpens listed as Cowpens, North Carolina. This is incorrect. Cowpens battle field is actually in South Carolina near the town of Chesnee, SC in Spartanburg County South Carolina (though the actual battlefield borders both Spartanburg & Cherokee Counties in South Carolina. I live near the battle field in Spartanburg, SC where we have a statue erected to Brig. Gen. Daniel Morgan in "Morgan Square" in Downtown Spartanburg, SC. I visit the battle field often which is run by the National Parks Service.

Please change Cowpens to South Carolina instead of North Carolina...

Thanks,

Bill

Hi,

Phillip Fazzini requested that I transfer this memorial to you, which I just did. If you don't want the memorial, please accept my apologies and transfer it back to me.

Best,
Loretta

Mr. Meir, I hate to inform you but you are NOT the last direct male descendent of Micajah Pickett. My father Marsh Picket and his male cousins are direct descendents. Just wanted you to know so you can correct your bio.

Charles Alexander Eastman, Memorial# 9798329
Hello Mr. Meir

I noticed a couple of smally typos in your biography of Charles Eastman

...."Between 1823 and 1825 he was in-charge of the Government's office of the Inspector of complaints against the Indian agency"

I suppose you meant to say 1923 and 1925 rather
than 1823 and 1825.

best regards
Daniel Guggisberg

RE: David Franks
Dear K.M.

You're very welcome. It's my pleasure to provide such a small gesture. I'm curious as to your sourcxs on Col. Franks. For a variety of reasons, his accomplishments should be developed into a wider realm (book, film, etc.) as he represents the quintessential "immigrant" and early adherent to American liberty. Not to mention a Jew in a world where Jews did not have ready access to many social institutions. Thank you again for your fine article and your work with Find-a-Grave in general. I can be reached at spmlawyer@rcn.com.

Pickett Family in Pickett Cemetery
Hello,
Wondering if you could contact me with a question regarding memorials you have placed for Mary "Little Mollie" Pickett. Responded to photo request for someone there to find cemetery very overgrown and many stones toppled. We took photos of all stones we could find and while posting I have something strange with this memorial.
Hope to hear from you soon!
Thanks,
Brenda Keisler Gumbert
