My family has been in the Jefferson County area for five generations. Great grandparents are Dempsey Cager Bussey and Sudie Mae Tippit Bussey who are buried in the Benton Cemetery at Shady Springs. Grandparents, Ford Greer Bussey and Arizona Whitsett Bussey, along with most of their offspring are buried in Ryan Cemetery. I have surveyed the Ryan Cemetery and created a map for the City of Ryan to help others find their loved ones. I have in my posession a list of all those interred there up to 2002 in the three sections. My other side is Ingrams and Williams from Texas, Leonard Williams was my great great grandfather. This family tree is from the Hill, Hamilton, and Navarro Counties of Texas.
