Peggy and I have found this site to be just fantastic. We have many more family members to add. We hope everyone enjoys this site as well.|

I love your memorials, they all have wonderful pictures. I have many Burleson family pictures, unfortunately I don't have names for all of them. Your ancestor, Job Burleson and mine, John Burleson #128282259, were brothers. I have the Burleson line back to 1627 in England. I joined the DAR through Job and John's father, Joseph who unfortunately has conflicting death information. My GGgrandmother was Sarah Ann Burleson #38822425, who married Aaron Green. You can contact me by email if you like.

I am researching my family tree and this was a great help. Earl Newton Carty was my great grandfather on my father's side. I am finding this search so interesting. I am trying to find out as much as I can about my grandmother, Nettie R. Carrty Shaffer, daughter of Earl and Katie Carty.

Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to photograph the gravestone for me. You're the best! I hope you have a great day!
|C. Brad Schoening||Hancock's in Cedar Hill|
I've been researching the Hancock's on my grandmothers side who came from Maryland and moved to D.C. around the turn of the century.
Two brothers are buried in Cedar Hill (Suitland), they are William Arthur Hancock (1872 - 1948, sec 4, lot 212, site 6) and John Herman Hancock (1863 - 1941; sec 9 lot 062 site 11). Their father was
John Hancock (1840 - 1910) and he is buried in D.C.'s Rock Creek Cemetery.
In speaking with the Cedar Hill office, they mentioned John F was burred next to John H. I saw that you've added the grave site record for John F. and was wondering if you knew how they might be related?
