Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a registered nurse living in a very rural area in Iowa. Through researching my own family history I have become interested in recording and restoring the small cemeteries that have been long forgotten by many. Many people researching their ancestry do not realize that many people from Canada, Ny, Scotland, and Germany were the first to settle in Iowa's farming areas. Their research may lead them to Iowa; however, if these small cemeteries are not recorded, I fear much of our history will be lost as the tombstones deteriorate. I love researching family histories and would like to aid those searching here in Iowa.

Burlingham family in Boulder cemetery
Thank you so much for your work on these small cemeteries. I have added a link to Livonia Burlingham's son John (my ggrandfather) who is buried in the Dubois, WY, cemetery. Would you like to complete the other children's links, or would you like me to do it? I'll be happy to if you'll transfer them to me, or I can use the Edit tab for you. Again, thank you for your hard work and contribution. I appreciate it so much.

Oliver McPike- Hello, I noticed that a profile pic of him was posted on his memorial. I'm putting together a family book as he is my grand niece's gg-grandfather. I was hoping for your permission to use in our family book. Also, we were wondering if this photo could contain other family members, possibly his wife Louise. Thanks for your help. Sincerely, Eve

Nathan W. Soesbe
I came across the grave site photo of Nathan W. Soesbe, b. 1867.
My name is Nathan W. Soesbe, b. 1967.

I believe he was my great, great uncle.
I have the prototype "Soesbe Gate" cattle gate he invented and submitted to the U.S. patent office in 1905.
His brother's name was George Soesbe, also the name of my son.
