Findagrave has added a wonderful feature that allows memorial holders to update many requests at a time, but only if done via the Edit tab --- so please try that before leaving information on the profile page! This new feature is a true blessing.|
Thank you for visiting!
My mother, Mary Edith "Meg" Stevens and I, were/are long-time supporters of Findagrave -- a wonderful site to place memorials and do research. She sadly passed away in May of 2013, but her love of genealogy and helping others find their family, lives on.
One of my interest areas is the American Revolution. Please feel free to visit my page on Facebook and assist in the research. https://www.facebook.com/groups/RevWarRsch/.
I also welcome you to follow my weekly blog at GenealogyBank or to follow me on Twitter.
Thank you. I wish you success in your family research.
***** REQUESTS FOR CORRECTIONS *****
If you wish to download one of my tombstone pictures, you may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit.
Photographs of individuals absolutely require permission, and if lifted from here without appropriate permission or credit are subject to licensing fees.
Obits under copyright should be summarized, or cannot be posted (many less than 72 years, or longer if a newspaper renewed the copyright.)
REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS
Please follow Findagrave guidelines to be within a few generations and a direct descendant. For older ones, please communicate the reason.
As the number of memorials I manage increases, I sometimes elect to transfer without being asked. If you received a transfer and do not wish to manage it, please transfer back.

|Hydee Paulina Suppple||RE: Memorial# 3957348 Adolph A Supple|
I don't like death much so this is my way of keeping my ancestors alive in my own way & let's others get to see them for mor than just a memorial number & a headstone!
|Hydee Paulina Suppple||Memorial# 3957348 Adolph A Supple|
Hi there Mary, I would like to say Thank You so very much for the assistance on my Great-Uncle Adolph August Supple's memorial! This means so much to have this information! I added his birth year & country which was Germany. I will add more eventually. He has another brother that was my grandfather & I will add him too! I am still new to all of this genealogy stuff but I am in love with it!!! My little brother contacted me about a memorial statue with Adolph's name on it in his hometown county so I am hoping to travel for a picture of it to add to the memorial with you blessing of course!?!
Thanks again,Hydee Paulina Süpple

Was thrilled to finally find a record for an ancestor, Christina (Benedick) Knable. A little new to this searching...Was this added from the Inquirer obit? (no photo of grave included) or are we somehow related?
Thanks for your response and info.

I added the marriage note for Hersey Bradford. Thanks so much for sending it along. Curiously, I found that the links to his two Abby wives are not working; evidently the manager of those records deleted the originals for some reason... Not knowing why, I hesitate to recreate them. If you have additional information about this issue, I would be glad to hear it.

I have quite a bit of information on the Dimick line. You can e-mail me now or when you are researching them at email@example.com.

Yes..I remember taking several gravestone photos and even one of the Hank's home.
I made all your memorial page additions. I too am distantly related to the Dimicks...so I guess that makes us cousins!!
Good luck with your genealogy,

|Tre-sr||James Brearley Jr.|
there is in fact an article concerning the death of the above named James Brearley Jr. He was a first cousin, three times removed to me so I have spent lots of time working on my Brearley ancestors and relatives. The article was published in the North American newspaper in Philadelphia on 28 August 1878 and is titled 'A Meeting of the Bar and the Funeral of the Deceased.' in case you were interested in adding it to the Find a Grave listing for him.
Just thought I would let you know.

|Ryan Sandy||George H. Imhof|
Thank you so much for this information, The facebook page looks fantastic and I am very lucky that you informed me about this one. Thanks! I would be happy to manage George Imhof's memorial page, afterall, he was a family freind of some kind as my great grand Aunt passed the photo on to me.
|Ryan Sandy||George H. Imhof|
Are you in any way related to George H. Imhof and can you assist me in finding relatives of Corporal George H. Imhof. I am 90% certain that I have a pre-war photograph of this man, taken a few years before his death in Europe in WWI. I would love to share this with his family members if I can find them.
|June Ford||Silas Stewart|
Thanks for answering.. do you think the Steward spelling was just a mistake? As for the Fords, I got that info from the Decatur Co Historical Society & then saw more in a history of Decatur that I read on-line. That was many years ago & I should probably try again. The Fords came from Harrison or Scott Co KY, and John was married to Delilah Tevis in Clark Co; if I'm right about Jared marrying Elizabeth Campbell I think that was in Madison Co. John moved to MO & became Baptist, I always wondered why.
