My name is Shirley Pierce .My father was Boyd William Wood =My Mother was Lovena Mae ( Huntington ) Wood sometimes she spelled her name Lovine.Daddy liked it better that way.I have eight brothers and sisters living and one brother passed away November 2000 Boyd Jr the oldest of us kids.One sister ( Virginia ) passed away 8-27-2004 one sister Linda Louise passed away Febuary 10-2010 Sisters living are =Betty Ann = Daisy Uvonnie= Patricia Dianna =Mary Sharron and Three brothers living they are William Lee = Richard Thomas = Gayland Eugeen. My husband is Orville Lee Pierce.( Orville passed away on 5-19-2004 )I have five children living they are Carolyn Sue =Allie Mae = Deborah Jean =Mary Ellen and one son John Davis and one son passed away April 23 rd 1958.Sence I put this here I have lost my baby girl Mary Ellen Waynick She passed away on March 2nd. 2011===A lot of these names and dates came from the New Madrid Librarie . Some Out of the Portageville Missourian-News.Some from the Standard,Democrat News ,Sikeston Mo. All so from the Cemetery it self.I have been to a lot of them and I will do so as long as my Health holds up and I can, As I love doing this. Feel free to e-mail me at any time.I will Help in any way i can .SORRY I have retired from the New Hope Cemetery.It is growing up again.It breaks my heart to see this happen.I have worked so hard trying to keep most of it clean.But my health juch won't let me do it any more.I am almost 84 years old.with no help I had to give it up.SO VERY SORRY. Awhile back, I posted a stone photo for Cecil & Edith Fisher and it shows an odd nuebelecent blue color. There is 8-18" of snow in this cemetery now. I'm going to re-take it in the Spring.

mary ellen was married to my great aunt dollie fletcher's husband after she died. they had delbert who was raised by my great-grandparents, g.w. and cora patterson after she died in parma, como township,new mardid ,MO. i was looking for audie lee fletcher and came across mary ellen whose location on her death certificate is the same as dollie's. did mar e and audie have 2 girls lillie l. and ruby j. the girls are living with my great-grandparents also in the 1930 census. that is the last i have found for them. am wondering about them and audie. trying to put story together.
