Bio Photo NOTE:

Updated 3/20/2013

Thank you in advance for your understanding.

I will not be on the site daily--illness in my family. This is but a hobby--my family comes first.

I am also having computer problems (intermittently), so corrections will get done as soon as I am able, but within the allowed time limits.
I have been dealing with health issues for many years, and I am always playing "catch up." I try and do the best I can. If I post a photo to one of your memorials, and you are not satisfied, feel free to submit a photo request and wait for another graver to fill it.
I DO NOT link to "Burial Unknowns." This is a graves registration site, not a genealogy site, and I will not link to any burial listed as Unknown.

Per administrator Mark (9/21/2012):

"Admins won't knowingly link any memorial to a memorial of unknown disposition. We should not expect you to link them either."
I do not give permission for my photos uploaded to this website to be posted on any other website (and that includes and is not limited to Photos posted to memorials on Find A Grave are copyrighted by the member who submitted the photos. Lifting the photo to use elsewhere (on other sites) would be a violation of copyright, and a violation of Find A Grave's policy as well. Ancestry (of which I am not a member but do check from time to time) provides a link feature for you to add a link to Find A Grave memorials. Please read the Ancestry Terms of Use regarding copyrighted photos. Stealing them from here and uploading them there can result in the loss of your account there, with your money non-refundable.

REMEMBER: Just because a picture is on the Internet doesn't mean you are entitled to it!

Also, when requesting transfers, submitting corrections, etc., please use the EDIT tab in the upper right hand corner of the memorial. That way, I get all the links and can do them easily. If requesting a transfer, PLEASE state the relationship to the person you are requesting. I am related to many of the people for whom I created memorials, and I need to know this. Also, do not post correction or transfer requests on my page here--I probably won't see them, as I get many messages a day--and the EDIT tab is the correct procedure to use. Thanks in advance.
Please visit the memorial for my brother-in-law, who passed away suddenly on January 21, 2011 at the age of 54:

Bill Rampp

Thank you for your kindness.

Thanks for the note about the headstone error! I like the pics that you added, please do not remove them. I will add a bio/comment to the memorial explaining the apparent error on the stone. I wonder why the family never tried to correct the error?

RE: Re: Obituary for Sonja Sue Pfeifle
Everything I sent was on the internet, (public record),and was published in Print in an obituary, and is a Primary Source.
Newspapers Death Notices, Funeral Homes obituaries, Death Records notices are all Primary Sources.
You will see many Obituaries (Newspapers/Funeral Home) and copies of Death Certificates on Find A Grave, it has never been a problem. Even personal family Bios.

Even people not dead yet, i.e. photos of Headstones with one mate has died the other still living.

Thank you!
I just found the memorial for my G-G-G-G-G Grandfather, Henry Miller! There were so many options I thought I'd never narrow it down. If it weren't for the gravestone picture you posted, which had his wife's name on it, I never would have known which Henry Miller it was! Thank you SO much for doing that for me! You rock!

Roush Photo Request at Woodmere
Hey, I sent photo requests for the Roush family (Caroline, Richard, Lillian, and Doris) at Woodmere by going to their individual findagrave pages and clicking request photo a couple weeks ago like your instructions stated. Still no reply. Just don't know how this will actually authorize me to use the pictures though; requesting a new photo when their is already an existing photo posted doesn't make sense to me. If I did not do the request right or if you do not want to allow me to use the pictures for my family tree just let me know. I will honor your request either way.
Thanks for all your work,

Thanks for trying to photograph the graves of Omer, Margaret and Edward Vogt. I have taken your advice and contacted the cemetery to find out if they have grave markers. I appreciate your effort.

Thank you so much for going to Woodmere and taking this photo and others and also for leaving a token at his memorial. You have really made his memorial complete, and I appreciate it.

RE: Concerning the Roush family burried at Woodmere
I use familysearch too and have seen that link. Unfortunately you can't actually view the document yet. I have seen on multiple occasions with other death certs that they get things mixed up. I think Alexandrine, her sister was the informant. I am very sure her mother's name was Josephine. I have the links and pictures of her mother and siblings buried at Saint Johns Cemetery in Ohio as well as the census records and New York passenger lists. You are correct about them being from a canton in Switzerland that speaks French/Belgian, Valais to be exact, either the town of Bagnes or Le Chable. Caroline and Richard also had one son which I have been unable to find out where he is buried, Raymond Roush, who was under Henry Ford, when he ran the Dearborn Plant. Supposedly was very successful in Detroit at one time.
