Bio and Links
Bio Photo A love for Genealogy is what brought me to find a grave initially. I had no family left to ask questions and wanted to know where my roots were. I turned to the internet and free sites, and was surprised at the wealth of information available.

I have just recently (2014) found myself in a position to spend more time adding memorials. I am very careful not to add a duplicate entry, as I do a name search, as well as a cemetery search prior to adding a name. I also believe it's important for future generations to have access to the obituaries, so I do post them when I am able, if I have omitted one, or did not have access to one, please feel free to message me with the information and I will gladly add it.

YES, I have read the guidelines, from beginning to end, however, I have also found that when obits were not available and edits made, family, such as myself are left wondering if Grandpa had remarried after Grandma died, or if the family link is incorrect. The inclusion of the obituary, eliminates that problem, and will often times, answer questions that you didn't know you had, as in listing a sibling, or the maiden name of a mother.

I realize that not everyone believes as I do, please respect my differences and I will do the same for you. I appreciate that you can't please everyone, and I will no longer try.

I always appreciate your edit suggestions, because sometimes I miss things and want the memorials that I add, to be as accurate as possible. I do try to also research the census files when time permits, to be sure that family links I suggest, are correct, though at times, the information is still wrong.

Please feel free to use the information I post as you like, as I believe once the information is posted, it belongs to the public, much as it does when names and dates are mentioned in the public newspapers, unless you are family, you shouldn't be offended because someone borrowed your photos from a free/public site.

Thanks for listening and happy hunting

Augustus McDowell Photo Request
Bless you Patti for taking care of this request. I've created a FOLD3 Military Memorial for Augustus and really wanted a photo of his grave on his Find-A-Grave Memorial to share with his FOLD3 Memorial. Thank you so much.

Thanks so much for fulfilling my photo request. This photo has put together another hole in my tree. Great job done. Sorry for not getting back sooner, I have been out of the country.

Thanks for all you have done for me now and in the past. Thanks for all you do for others.

Thanks for your time in trying to locate his burial. I will request an edit to his find a grave that no burial spot is known.

I know this request had to be frustrating. I just went on vacation and serched both cemeteries in Orting and looked at each and ever grave. There was no one their to help me, I tried to locate it and could not find it. I really do appreciate your time and energy spent in this request. Thanks so much!
Thanks for all you do for others.

Her picture is on her page. I see you fixed the cemetery info. She has a nice marker and grave site I think.... She is located at Block 73, lot 106 space 4. Take Care...

Hi Patti. I have located Gia ( haven't taken the picture yet). She is buried at Evergreen cemetery Everett Washington. You have Mission Beach listed on her memorial. I don't know the " PC" way to ask or how to fix it so it says Evergreen. I will hopefully get out to the cemetery this weekend to look for her marker

Mike was my uncle and his obituary information is incorrect. His living sister is Donna Conner and not Dorothy Connor. Dorothy Leach, his older sister passed away.
