|Larry C Marcum||John Andrews photo Request|
I saw your photo request for John Andrews in the Methodist Church Cemetery in Bethesda, Williamson County TN. According to local residents, the Old Methodist Church was located on Bethesda Duplex Rd at the site of the present day Masonic Lodge. There is a cemetery on the property and I assume this is the Methodist Church Cemetery. However, John Edwards cannot be located in this cemetery although there are several stones in the cemetery that are not readable. Upon further investigation I located the Andrews Cemetery on Bethesda Rd which has recently been renovated. There is a stone in that cemetery for John Andrews with dates that match (1765-1842). This stone appears to be newer than 1842 and may have been erected when the cemetery was renovated in 2007-09. I have attempted to contact the sexton for the Andrews cemetery without success to learn more of the history of this cemetery.

|Dawna Mongold||Leroy Wood (1896-1922)|
Thanks for sending the corrected information for Leroy Wood's memorial. Your information gives his burial place in Waxahachie but not which cemetery. Do you have that information?
If not I found a link to his grand-daughter and have asked her if she has that information.
I would sure like to place him where he belongs.
Thank you, have a wonderful day. Dawna.

I would be happy to fill your photo request, however, can you contact Grove Hill cemetery and get the burial locations for your requests: 214-381-7118
There are over 311 photo requests and the volunteers can not ask for that many locations.
Your request will get filled with the location information. The cemetery does not like to cooperate with findagrave volunteers.

Sherry, I went to Myrtlewood Cemetery this week while on vacation and took picture of your gravestone requests. I will be posting them later today but wanted to give you some information about the graves. All information is from the 2001 survey of the cemetery and what I observed at the cemetery.
Albert Williams (1842-1923) is buried in Section B with his wife Mildred J. Alford (1846-1928) and I'm assuming maybe their daughter or granddaughter Lottie (1886-1945). The survey says Mildred was the wife but gives no information on Lottie. However, all three graves are exactly alike. They are a large flat stone with a small headstone with their name only on them. I could not get pictures of the small headstones as they were located under very heavily thorned bushes and I had no gloves. I was able to move the branches a little to make sure of the names but there were not dates anywhere on the stones that I could see. I took a picture of all three together. In the picture Lottie is on the far right, Albert is in the middle and Mildred is on the left.
Lula Williams (1871-1953) is buried in Section A around several family members. Lula (Williams) Williams, maiden and married name the same, married Edd A. Williams Oct 16, 1895. Her sister Lela A (Williams)Hawkins married Charles Beauford Hawkins. They are listed as daughters of Albert & Matilda Williams.
Buried at the feet of Edd & Lula are their sons Frank M & Edwin A. Williams.
Buried in the same lot with Charles and Lela are six young children. Their last name is not on the stones but they are buried with the parents so I'm assuming they are their children. There is a large stone for Charles and Lela and the children are all flat stones in the same lot. The lot for Charles and Lela is in front of Edd & Lula. I will add all these pictures to their memorials and also the lot photo which shows the overall location.
I hope this is all helpful. If you have any questions let me know.

Thank you again for your help. After updating memorial, I realized I had created a duplicate. Memorial # 75807048 already has bio. Thank you for bringing that to my attention, I appreciate all of your help so much!
