My name is Jules, and I have long held an interest in the art and history of cemeteries. I am a former cemetery/funeral director and my great-grandparents were long-time superintendents of Oakland Cemetery, a very large cemetery in Sandusky, Ohio. I'm now a work-from-home Mom who hopes to do more cemetery research in the future. | |

Hello,
I would like to thank you for the pictures of the White family in the Oakland Cemetery. Of these are my great grandparents to my great great great grandparents.I live on the west coast and have never made it to Ohio.

I just went into my notes and found that you had sent me a message 3/27/06 about Israel.
Now I know who you are. I transferred Israel and Blanche LaPierre over to you, you'll be able to do what you want. You could have uploaded photos before. Which was a question that you asked me back in 06.

I'll transfer Israel LaPierre over to you, seeing as you are directly related. If I put his wife Blanche on Find A Grave, I'll do the same for her. I'll have to look.
It doesn't matter to me. So far, I haven't connected this family to my LaPierre family.
There were two families in the area.

I noticed you added Israel LaPierre's Memorial on Find A Grave, April 12, 2006.
I added the same in 2004 and added photos that I took myself. Did you copy my photos or did you take your own? They look the same.
I think one Memorial is needed, not two. Again, are you related?
I'll have to look in my family tree to find the connection to my graet uncle.

Yes I am related to some LaPierres. I haven't connected Israel LaPierre to my great uncle Joseph Isadore Theodore LaPierre yet. But I had found his grave and information for I added it to Findagrave.
Are you related to him?
