You are so welcome! Do you want me to transfer his memorial to you?

I added a Jakob Ehman on findagrave yesterday...might he be connected to your family?..I belong to a genealogy group on Facebook that helps me with translation of the German writing...someone looked up Jakob with the same birthday and said he might have been born in Schornbach...check it out.

Thank you Christine! I appreciate it very much.

Any luck with moving this Memorial to Saint John Cemetery in Cheektowaga, NY - (not the non-existent Saint Johns in Buffalo). It appears a sister to Mr. Freeman is also buried in the Saint John in Cheektowaga. I'm having the incorrect cemetery that is listed as being in Buffalo removed and need to get the remaining 5 memorials left in there moved out before it can be deleted. Thank you for re-visiting this issue.
|Katherine White||RE: Memorials in Saint Johns - Buffalo, NY|
Thank you for your reply. Yes, that is the exact cemetery I was referring to. The Saint Johns in Buffalo has a mere 9 of 20 memorials left in it from when I started requesting they be moved to another location. I say another location because one entry ended up truly in Saint John the Baptist in Alden, New York so I can not safely assume they all belong in Saint John (no "s") in Cheektowaga. The Cheektowaga location has over 2000 memorials vs the incorrect one in Buffalo with 9. By continuing to leave the Buffalo location "open" it's allowing additional memorials be added to it. I was hoping the folks who maintain the memorials could move them if they know for a fact where the interment is. The Cheektowaga one is under http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=1349620&CScn=saint+john&CScntry=4&CSst=36&CScnty=1992& I'm just trying to achieve an accurate database for Buffalo & Erie County cemeteries. There are truly only three cemeteries in Buffalo; Concordia, Forest Lawn, and a Jewish one whose name escapes me at the moment. I thank you for your time in re-visiting the issue. Please feel to contact me anytime. Kathi

I've come across the listing for this cemetery in Buffalo, New York. Unfortunately, there is no cemetery by that name in the City of Buffalo itself. That is a chance the memorials you have created in this cemetery may belong to St. Johns cemetery in Cheektowaga, New York which is the first suburb outside of Buffalo. I am contacting the contributors of the 20 memorials listed in the incorrect cemetery in hopes of getting it deleted once they are all moved to the correct resting place. The memorials you maintain in this cemetery are; Freeman, Kaska, McDermott, and 2 for Watson. I thank you for assistance. Please feel free to contact me or advise me when they are moved to correct locations. Kathi
