|Dot Harcum||Mertice Eugenia Dooley Griffis|
My research indicates that Mertice, Find A Grave memorial # 36811664, was a daughter of Walter E Carter, Find A Grave memorial # 69343783, and Marvel Pepper Carter, Find A Grave memorial # 69343582, and her name was Mertice Eugenia Carter (not Dooley).
She was married to Wilbur Jackson Best, 24 Sep 1930 in Greensville Co., VA prior to her marriage to Mr Griffis. Wilbur's Find A Grave memorial # 126545954.
If you'd like, I'll be happy to send you more proof of these connections.
Please correct Mertice's name and make the above connections.

|dsanchez||RE: Joseph Thomas Townsend|
I went back into my records on this grave and this is the info that the cemetery has for Joseph. Buried Sec. L9 Lot 399 space 1 grave # 7167 Relative Helen Townsend.
Also for Mary Helen Reno, she is listed in their records as Townsend, Reno Helen, buried Sec. L9 Lot 413 space 4 grave # 8228 relative Orville Reno. From my understanding they are buried 12 lots apart. I hope this helps you more. Glad that I could be a help to you on this search.
