Grandma Jin
I'm researching the possibility that the family including Jesse William is the family of THOMAS VAUGHN, born 18 Feb 1862, died 11 May 1924 in Oklahoma. His middle name is MONTGOMERY. There IS a Thomas, age 7, in the Sept 1870 census with JAMES H.VAUGHN,13; ROSE,11 and EMMA VAUGHN,age 9.

OR - he is possibly the THOMAS H. VAUGHN, age 8 in the 1870 census of Oktibbeha, MS with Jesse W., 11. In that census, there is a Edith IRWIN, 35 and her daughter, Jane M.Irvin, 12 living in that home.

OR, he may be the "COUSIN" listed in the 1880 census of Byhalia, MS living with the Shinnault family.

contact: Thanks!

Clyde A Sparks (131460472)
Mr. Kirby--Would you correct an error on this memorial? It shows Clyde married to Tennie Sparks (92103617). She was his step-mother and mother-in-law. He was married to Eunice Ellen Sparks Newlin (51501503), Tennie's daughter and his step-sister.

I am Tennie's granddaughter and Eunice's niece.

Thanks for your assistance.

RE: Find A Grave Memorial# 126802294
David's other is Nora Nell Cook Bledsoe so no Nora's husband is not David's brother but his father.

It is quite possible that whoever gave information for the obit didn't know what they were talking about or it was transcribed wrong. This would not be the first or last obit that was found with errors in it. I just wanted to check.

By the way I have several Bledsoe's that married Bledsoe's. You know those hill people of Kentucky - yes some are my relatives.

Thanks for checking into this. I will also continue to check on Lillian to see if I can find anything else that mentions her parents names.

Just wondering why her obit says her parents are Bledsoe's but her maiden name is listed as Jones.

Any insight?

Session Cemetery
Mr.Kirby I saw that you were looking for Session Cemetery in Woodville, and I think I have found it. There is an area of the city of Rusk (Cherokee County) that is known as Woodville (just like Dallas has the communities of Oak Cliff-Lake Highlands-Pleasant Grove, but they're all really Dallas)and they have a Session Cemetery. I'm thinking this will be where Vivian Thompson and her children Latoya and Maurice are buried. Hope this is helpful.
