I am not sure about this one Mr. Kirby. You know the black Community Cemetery is located on the county line road that seperates Cherokee Co and Smith Co, don't you? I have always suspected it is in Smith Co, not cherokee Co. as they claim since it is located on the north side of the road. Interesting. Let me know what you think and what you find out. Thanks a million. Elaine Shelton

I had to check with my mother because I wasn't sure - my grandmother will be buried in Cathedral in the Pines. She will be buried with her second husband, Daniel Patrick Maley, Jr., who passed away in 1998. I do not know where my grandfather, Robert Lewis Duff is buried, but that is one thing I will check on when I'm there this weekend. We also intend to visit several Grimes gravesites while there. Thanks for your kind words and your help!

I want to reiterate what Jamie Farrell Tomlinson said. Thank you for getting my grandmother's obituary up so fast! I'm writing up some Grimes family history for when my family is all in Texas this week for her memorial. I got on here to double check some dates and it was great to see her obituary already up. Many many thanks!

Rex, thank you so much for transferring my grandfather's memorial to me without me even having to ask. I got on here today to create it and saw you already had, I really appreciate it!

Seems I was previous with the memorial; this was about the time I started using dousing rods when markers didn't have death dates and added his as the numbers were pretty high. Frank Everett gave me the death date earlier and I appreciate both of you. Thanks so much for the obit; I don't get the paper now so hope you'll continue to provide.
