The final resting places of my family on this earth hold a special place in my heart. There is no feeling to compare to finally finding an ancestor's grave after months or years of searching. When I am standing there I am humbled by the thought that this is where my family gathered together 25,55, or 155 years ago and still we go on. Some say that family is forever. Perhaps that is true. We are only here a short period of time. When I am alone among my departed family members there is a certain comfort I feel that some part of them is present at the moment and that life really never ends.|

I noticed you posted a candle in her memory and a flower for another Rucks family member.
I also ntoiced you have entered many Rucks graves.
Are you related to my Aunt Bert?
|Judy Annis||Cook Co vs Berrien Co|
You could list the correct county of Berrien to assist other researchers seeking verification. The town of Cecil, was in Berrien now in Cook, could be added in the bio section. Thanks
|R L Snyder||Murphy family|
Thank you for explaining your connection to my Uncle Arnold Murphy #29318236. If any of his descendants are interested in their family history, I will welcome their contact and gladly share what I have. My email is listed on contributor page. Your research posted on this site is wonderful. Thanks again.

You are very welcome. Richard and I were both impressed with the sensitivity and respect you expressed in your bio for the resting places of departed family members. Stay well and never stop searching. Our families are out there just waiting to be found and brought into the comforting circle of loved ones.
|Toney||John Sims Jackson|
I see that you added a note to John Sims Jackson on Aug. 3, 2014 that he was your g-g-grandfather. John's brother William Nathan Jackson was my great grandfather. I have the name and phone number for one of John's descendants (through the Griffin line) who lives in Bowdon, GA, where I grew up. I also have info on John's parents and their ancestors. You may reach me by direct e-mail at email@example.com. Look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the help. My family are the Brumbeloe family in this cemetery. By family history I know most of the people in Skirum cemetery are related. When you add extra information to the memorials it helps people like me connect to them. There is only one Rucks that I have not photo, but I do not believe she has passed from this life. Most of the cemetery has a photo, unless they have not died or I could not find a stone. I found one person in another cemetery. Again, Thanks for your help.
Anita Callie Sullivan Bass was my Aunt. are you related to her?
