I was born and raised in Lawrence County Ohio. Although Ironton is my birth place I grew up in South Point.

Family genealogy has been part of my life since my dad passed away in June of 1990. He'd often told several stories which piqued my interest. However he and I never got beyond the stories before he died. So after he left I began researching and gathering information about the characters in the stories. One thing led to another and now I have a FamilyTreeMaker database containing just about everyone in the family. I've added several names and pictures to find-a-grave in hopes of providing immortality to some very nice people who've long since passed.

Most likely I have higher resolution photos than those dispalyed so just ask if you need a better copy. Individuals may feel free to copy and use any of this information for their genealogical efforts as long as it is not for profit. If you do use any of this information please cite the original source wherever possible. Need to know more? Just ask.

Find-a-Grave correction
Hi Mack,
First off, thank you for sharing your genealogy pictures and research online. It means a lot to me, and I'm sure it does to many others, too.

I was doing searches on some family names and came across a small correction on Mary Alberta Kelley Stapleton, at:

There was no second "e" in her maiden name, which should be spelled Kelly. (It's something she would stress to her family.)

Thanks again!
Lesli Christian

William Webb
I seen you have a page for William Webb 1856-1921. Do you know any thing about his back story or genealogy, I'm think her may be may great-great-great-grandpa.

Dora Ruth Morrison # 66025981
Would you consider linking my great aunt Dora Morrison to her mother?

Mother: Ellen Pettry #95363836

Dora was born on June 18, 1889 at Dry Creek, WV and she died February 22, 1911 in Ironton, OH. She died of typhoid pneumonia. She married Harry Todd Morrison in March of 1910.

Harry Todd Morrison was born on Feburary 9, 1885 and he died on February 20, 1930.

Dora was pregnant and died less than one year after their marriage.
I have been searching a long time for her grave, but I was looking in WV. I was happy to find you have a memorial for them. Thank you.

I added a picture of her on your memorial page and I hope you don't mind. The picture was dated June 18, 1908 on her birthday and it was taken in Ironton, OH.

Thank you

Hi Mack,

I just posted the above-noted memorial to the Mamre Cemetery, Kitts Hill, OH.

Would you take a look at it and give your opinion?

... my sincere appreciation ... Della

Nellie Blanche Jenkins Orsini
Mack - thank you for researching and publishing your findings about my Grandmother, Blanche Orsini. I have shared it with my children and family, some of whom are currently doing their own ancestry research. I am currently attempting to determine the bloodline for my Grandfather's family (Frank Torino Orsini, Blanche's husband). I have hit a brick wall with this one, as I cannot accurately determine any history preceding his immigration to the U.S.A. One of my sons has enlisted the help of a professional to assist in this search. I can only hope to achieve a small percentage of the success you have shown. Thanks. Larry Orcena.
