Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I run the Family dairy here in Fort Dick. I have lived here all of my life and know many of the old family names. I am interested in the history of our county settlers.

All grave photos for Crescent City are posted here and county requirements are that you contact them for death or birth certificates. The county Historical society has a great selection of books on the area.

The only help I can provide is to research the local newspaper archives.

RE: Mary Porter
WOW! I am SO interested in your quest now. What were the other names? I have the map of her immediate area and maybe they are listed?
Keep me in the loop, as I am fascinated by your story! And please let me know if I can do anything else!
Thanks!
Roni

Mary Porter
I was finally able to get to the cemetery and look for her. She does not have a heastone. I am posting a picture of her resting place on her memorial page. She is surrounded by big trees! it is beautiful!
