My name is Lona and researching my family tree is one of my favorite things to do. Along with Ancestry.com, this site is BY FAR one of the most helpful genealogical tools out there. I love 'road-tripping' outside of my county to visit the cemeteries nearby. Recently, I've been hanging out in Wabash and Kosciusko Counties in Indiana and Cass County, Michigan. |
I am more than happy to transfer ownership if you come across a relative I've created a listing for. Exceptions include GRAFF, GARRISON, BENNER, BREWER, HALL, MACK, MILES, JACOBS and MEECH as these are my direct ancestors. I love trading information, so please feel free to write to me!
I am glad to add or correct any information on the memorials. Just let me know.
My favorite celebrity memorials:Will Rogers, Al Jolson, Maj. Gen. Nathanael Greene, Pope John Paul I

|Thomas Benner||Benner Family|
I am Thomas Benner, age 65, originally from Michigan, and currently in St. Louis, Missouri. James Benner was the younger brother of my great,great grandfather, John Benner. John Benner's first born was Theodore Webster Benner, who is my great grandfather, followed by Lee Benner my Grandfather and then my father, D. Gregg Benner or Gregg Benner. The family tree as I know it is up on My Heritage Family Tree Builder. I was excited to find this "Find a Grave" website and because of your work, will enjoy exploring it. Thank you for your work.

Hi Lona. Great job here. I just wanted to make a comment concerning Leroy "Peg" Grove. He was my maternal grandfather, and he was never a PFC in the army. Also if you could transfer ownership to me, I would really appreciate it.

Nancy is my grandmother. In 1921, she filled out a genealogy chart in connection to the Baker Hoax. Her document shows 6 generations. I would be happy to share a copy of that if you are interested.

|Lynn Brown||RE: Fred Graff|
Hi there Lona!!!!! Amelia Hardmeier is also my great great grandmother!!!! I am currently working on a Graff Family History Photo Album and have been on Ancestry.com collecting info. How might I be able to send you a picture? I just got one of Amelia and Fred from my Uncle Doug just last week!!!!
What I have learned about Amelia is that she was born March 26, 1869 in Zurich, Switzerland and came over on a ship in 1877 when she was 8 years old. She and, I believe, her family settled in Morton, Tazewell County, Illinois where she eventually met Fred Graff and married him on April 26, 1896. She would have been 27 but he was 37. Also, she was Fred's second wife. His first wife was Barb Oesch (1867-1907). Fred had 2 sons and a daughter with his first wife Barbara Oesch. She died when she was 40. Info from 1910 Census
• Oliver (1890-1976) He married Emma
• Oscar (1892-1984) He married Huldah
• Laura (1894-1981) She married Pete Wuthrich
After Fred and Amelia married she gave birth to 9 children
• Walter Graff (1897-1976)
• Barbara E Graff Beer (1898-1991)
• Bertha M Graff Rassi (1899-1964)
• George C Graff (1900-1970)
• Edna L Graff (1902-1994)
• Mary L Graff Gerber (1903-2000)
• Albert R Graff (1905-1995)
• Matilda C Graff Kasbaum (1907-2007)
• Everett L "Scrappy" Graff (1912-1987)
Let me explain how I am related to her. My name is Lynn Graff Brown and my father was William R "Bill" Graff who's father was George Carl Graff who's father was Fred Graff. Does that make sense to you. It is quite exciting for me to find a relative who loves family history.
My personal email is firstname.lastname@example.org and I would love to send this photo to you, but not sure how to send it on the Find A Grave site. This is all so new to me...
