I found a passion for genealogical research after my youngest son, Richard Erwin Smith, went to join his Heavenly family. I just did not want him to be forgotten. I now spend so much time in cemeteries that my children think that is what "vacation" means. I have two living sons, Jason Bradford Crain and Matthew Patrick Crain, and three grandsons, Bryan, Kyle and Logan. My husband, Erwin W. Smith, is a very patient man who puts up with my cemetery jaunts and even joined me on my last photo trip, finding that the person I was looking for was actually someone he had worked with many years ago. Looks like we have someone in common. Amanda is my grand aunt, through her sister Joann RICHMOND Johnson (Harvey Columbus Johnson).
Would like to learn more about aunt Amanda, & about yourself.
Only been doing genealogy a couple of years, an ancestry.com tree less than that for the Johnson-Richmond clans.
