I am originally from the Mid-Hudson Valley, and continue to have an interest in the history and genealogy of the area. I am researching an extended Irish family line from Port Ewen-Kingston to Newburgh to NYC, and a Bavarian line from the Rondout in Kingston, NY.|
I am also tracking the descendants of immigrants from a small town, Carunchio, Chieti, Abruzzo, across the USA.
Along the way I am also posting any fotos or transcriptions that may be of interest to others that I may come across in my tombstone hunting!
You may use any foto I have posted if you attribute me as KValentine and also attribute Findagrave.

|AW||RE: Margaret Howden|
I have added the pic for Margaret. Would you like me to transfer John Howden to you? I will keep an eye out for your Aunt and Uncle. Do you have a section number for them?

Would you like control of Teresa's parents? I am not related to them.

Just posted Joseph Nameth...I wasn't sure if this is one you wanted to know or not. I'm listing another 400 in the next couple of days and posted 400 earlier in the week.
Will have photos later.
|whitepaper||RE: Michael DelPapa|
You are welcome. It was an honor to photograph your request of Michael Del Papa's mausoleum. He was such an important person to our area, responsible for many Italian households living in New York's southern tier today.
The Elmira Telegram of 22 March 1891, in an interview with Michael, the newspaper states: "Michael Del Papa, the Italian padrone. . . . is the leader of the Italians in this section of the state, and he is an intelligent man." When this was written, according to the 1900 federal census, Michael was only 27 years old and had been in the United States for just about 10 years.

Thanks for sharing the links -- they have been added.
|Brenda & Pete||RE: Nicholas Ritrivi|
Thank you for the additional information for Nicholas. I like having as much info as possible for the memorials I create. It seems that there were a lot of men killed at the steel plant as well as the railroad. Both dangerous jobs. Thanks again and have a good evening.

I would be happy to accept ownership of the McDermott graves you have created. I have new information that I'm sure would be helpful to others.
Thank you so much for the offer.
