|I am descended from Hugh and Margaret (McLain) Hanley from Enniskillen of County Fermanagh Ireland. The family immigrated to the Huron District of Ontario Canada in 1838. There were ten children. One son moved to Oregon, at least two went to Michigan, and several other children stayed in the Goderich area of Huron County in Ontario. Hugh died shortly after arrival in Canada and Margaret died in Port Huron Michigan in 1867.|
A wordsmith I am not, so I chose to have others reveal my thoughts through their quotes.
I think that in some small way we honor our ancestors by the simple act of remembering. My goal is to provide a roadmap by linking my family so that future genealogist can more readily find those they seek. This task can be difficult when maiden names are lost to history.

I've deleted the memorial I had created for him. If you need any other help I'll see what I can do for you. I hope you use the seeking michigan site, the advanced part is really great, makes it a lot easier to find someone. If you ever have trouble using it drop me a line with names and I'll see what I can find for you. Have a Blessed Week.

You can find info like I found on Mark on family search.org. there is also another site that can be very helpful www.seekingmichigan.org there you can get copies of death certificates from 1897-1920. If you'd like I can delete my memorial of him since you already have so many family connections of him connected. Your welcome to copy and use the info I had found on him before I delete mine. Just let me know when you'd like me to delete mine. I'm always willing to help others.

I maintain memorials so that my ancestors will be properly remembered. It will be all too soon when all of those who knew my family in a personal way will be gone, along with their memories. Nothing will remain but the written history. I feel we honor our ancestors in some small way simply by remembering them. Thanks to all those who provided information.
Transfered all to you, dont worry about transfering back just dont delete them.
