I am the oldest son of Eddie Phillips and Ruth Robinett. I was born Feb 23, 1950 in my mother's hometown of Ashland Kentucky. My Family were among the early Pioneers of Milton Township Jackson county Ohio. As a young boy, I attended Central School in Wellston, Ohio and high school in Cambridge, Maryland Graduateing with the Class of 1968. I am a Vietnam Veteran serving 4 years with the Marine Corps. My interests are: playing Country Guitar, reading political and military history and the fascinating field of family genealogy. I am a dedicated Civil war Buff also. | |

I read Ms. Larson's book on Ms. Caroll's life and enjoyed it immensely. Ms. Caroll deserves more credit in history but the nature of her work precluded detailed notes or writing about some of her work during the war. | | | Sherry Eastridge Long
