"You know you're getting old when a structure built during your lifetime is added to the National Registry of Historic Places." - Unknown I'm a scavenger, historian, author of 10 books, sometime a child, an archaeologist, a functionalist, a resourceful treasure hunter, a collector, a recycler, a junk dealer, a student of mortuary science, a poet, an artist, a tinker, a gardener, a docent and retired. I also volunteer and work at the historical Kelton House Museum and Garden in Columbus, Ohio and serve on the advisory of the Underground Railroad. I have a passion for historical cemeteries and of those interred and hold an interest in the underground railroad, southern plantations and the movement of slaves north seeking freedom.
