How did you determine her birth and death dates? 4. How did you determine that Benjamin's siblings are Jessie, Sarah and William Skinner? Lastly, 5. how did you determine that William Skinner (Memorial# 11652736) committed suicide? Thank you.

Rebecca's maiden name
Hi BamaGuy,

I found your entry on James W. and Rebecca Kendrick who died in Butler Co. I have a question as you appear to indicate her surname before marrying Kendrick was Stinson. Right?
I found a marriage license in Butler Co., dated 26 Nov 1867 for James W.Kendrick and Rebecca J.Presley. Have you seen a marriage document listing a Rebecca Stinson to James W. Kendrick?

I am researching a Rebecca D.J.Presley, born in Georgia about 1847 but who moved to Coosa Co., AL about 1858. Your listing indicates this Rebecca was born in 1846 in AL. Pretty close.

Thanks for any insight on this couple.

David Carson
David Carson who married Elizabeth Dysart is my 6x great grandfather. His daughter Margaret Carson married David Craig and I am descended from that line.

I was excited to see that a burial site was found for him; however, I don't understand your memorial addition at all. On what basis have you determined that his is buried at Moore Cemetery in Washington County? Also, usually at, you can see a gravestone or records on the death date of the ancestor, but you have listed his death date as unknown. Is there a tombstone or a record showing that David Carson is actually buried in this cemetery? Please let me know more about how you verified the information input on this site.

Rutherfords in Alabama, and Florida
Hi, I am interested in the memorial you posted (with photo) of Margaret Genevieve "Genevieve" Johnson (Rutherford) of Alabama. Genevieve was my great aunt (half sibling to my grandfather Jack) and I was curious as to whether you had any information of the rest of the family, where they ended up. Who they married, etc. I have found a sister to Genevieve and Jack- Melrose A. Rutherford, she is buried next to my grandfather in Spokane... but unless its sister Augustine, I don't know who she is. Are you related to this family? Melrose obituary transcription can be viewed in my managed memorials, and I have additional info on some of the rest of the siblings. Thanks for your time. Hope to hear from you soon.

photo of Alabama Rabby Cain
I have seen this same photo and was told this was Sarah Miller Rabby 1809-1892 the mother of Alabama Rabby Cain , I havew also seen her photo and this is not her in my opinion , this photo dates to 1880s the lady is about 80 so it fits Sarah Miller Rabby more than it does her daughter Alabama Rabby Cain , they have a good photo of Alabaam Rabby Cain and husband Joe Cain at Bayou La Batre Archives and she was a very heavy Lady , the photo you have here is from circa 1880s and Alabama Rabby Cain should look about 50 at that time, I think this photo is Alabama Rabby Cain's mother Sarah Miller Rabby born 1809 died 1892 and is buried at St Michael's cemetery in Coden Al , maybe somebody mixed up the 2 photo's or eith got them confused?
