I would like to have William Howard transferred. I sent a request thru Find A Grave. I was told it is easier that way. Thanks again.

Sandra, I was pleased to add photos to the Akers gravehouse in the Clarkson Cemetery. The cemetery once had several memorials but seems they have been taken down. I was accompanied to this cemetery several years ago by a reporter and photographer from the Knoxville News who did a front page story on this cemetery. Have you seen this? John

Thank you for making the links so quickly. Marcella's brother, John & his wife, Elizabeth were my neighbors & close friends. I visited with Marcella and son whenever they visited Richmond.......
John & Elizabeth were real examples of the storybook version of southern charm & courtesy. I've never met anyone else like them.
I checked Riverview Cemetery for the headstone for Logan Lipscomb, but was unable to find it in the section listed. I did find several other stones in a Lipscomb family plot, which were Annette C Lipscomb, Georgianna F Lipscomb, Henry Lipscomb, Susan Wade Spencer, J D Spencer, Newton W Spencer, and Mary Minor Spencer (wife of Newton W). The last four listed are not in the database yet, but I am in the process of adding the. The section that these are all in has 8 spaces for graves, and there are only 7 headstones. I believe that Logan may have an unmarked grave in the last remaining space.
Also, found several other Lipscomb's in a separate area of the cemetery. I am also adding them into the database. Let me know if you are interested in the information on them.

Thanks a bunch. I like to connect dots when I can. One of the Parkinson children was a partner with Jesse's son T.C. Williams in his tobacco company. The Parkinsons go back a long way in New Kent, Co. James was a Baptist minister and farmer.

Sounds good Sandra, Another idea might be to put a caveat stating that the info is accurate as best as we know more research is required or something of that nature. Thanks again
