RE: Stephen Yeoman
So that's why I got mixed up, Good Hope is the larger cemetery? I have been to both but could not remember the names. The DAR marked Stephen's grave that you have photos of. My father and I found Good Hope Cemetery back in the mid 80's but when I went in the early 2000's the DAR members took me to the small cemetery off a county road that had the old stones, son James there and son-in-law Jarod Benjamin.

I see you posted a photo of Stephen's stone. Maybe you can help. Not sure which cemetery your picture was taken in. I have been there a few years ago. But it is not the Rock Mills Cemetery. There is a stone there also for Stephen and Abigail by their son Walter. The local chapter DAR took me to the stone you photographed with the marker but I do not remember what they called that small cemetery. In that cemetery was Stephen and Abigail's son James, who I am descendant from. I thought maybe Walter put a stone up next to him in memory of his parents??? Any way I am trying to find the name of the cemetery you took the picture because I have Stephen and Abigail in Rock Mill but they have a stone there too. Very confusing, why two stones.

You list his parents as Lewis & Elizabeth - I can see where they lived near each other and moved with each other in the census records - but unable to find any other confirmation that they are parents - /seems tornado took out court house and fire destroyed church records. Can you help me? Are siblings of Lewis Joab and William? Any help will be most appreciated. Thank you.

RE: 87560468 - Ella Baughn Armstrong
Chris,
Several weeks ago (before you said you were going to call the cemetery) I wrote to the person who had Ella Armstrong's burial site to give him some information and after sending the information I realized his Ella Armstrong was not Ella Baughn Armstrong, so I wrote him immediately after I sent the first message and told him to skip what I'd sent. He made the changes and the next day he transferred her to me and than a couple of days ago I noticed he had attached headstones that didn't match Ella B. Armstrong. I was debating what to do about that.
I did look at a short write up on Cypress Cem. and it seems there are many people who were moved there from San Francisco and they don't know who all is buried there. We may never know where Ella B. is buried and I'm relatively sure she's most likely not buried at Cypress or she's been put in some kind of common grave site. San Francisco moved all cemeteries to Daly City a long time ago. One of the cemeteries was turned into a golf course and some of the headstones are still on the course.

I am confused as to what you would like to do

Ella Baughn Armstrong
Find A Grave Memorial# 87560468

mine was created later.
should I delete it or transfer to you?
Maj Ella Maude Armstrong
Find A Grave Memorial# 106818583

mine can be linked to Find A Grave Memorial# 87560468 if you want, and I can transfer to you
Maj Arthur E Armstrong
Find A Grave Memorial# 106818620

let me know what you want to do

I don't understand why you want to delete photos from the original, earlier memorial created for Ella

RE: Garrett Boughn #33758298
You are correct, there is not a headstone to mark Garrett's burial location. The cemetery register does list Garrett as being buried beside his mother Eva. The photo that I placed on Garrett's memorial isn't supposed to be the headstone, I placed it to show the plot where he and his mother are buried. If you look at the bottom right hand side of Eva's stone you can see the plot marker. Notice the photo I placed on Eva's memorial is a close up and doesn't show the plot. If you still want me to remove the picture on Garrett's memorial after this explanation let me know and I will.

Please note: I am no longer a contributor to Find-a-grave. I would be glad to transfer ownership to others who are interested, but do not know how. Please let me know, and I will be glad to relinquish responsibility to those willing to take them over.

Thank you.
