 | Henry Adams Ohh Jacqui .. Henry wasn't eccentric by any shape of the imagination. He' was considered by many the formost historian of the 19th & 20th century,
Clover has much more to offer up than being a meer ghost. She was the whit and center of a very elite group of brilliant people ( The five of hearts )
Enjoyed your impressions but some truth needs to be mied in with it.

 | More and more... I never heard the one at the cemetery is a COPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The one at the Dolley madison Courts is the COPY - indeed I believe I read there are 4 or 5 copies. (I don't know where the others are located.)
Ahhhhhhhh, the mystery continues!
If you pull up Clover's name on GOOGLE there is a diff. pic of her there. You could copy it and add it to her page. (IF you are so inclined).
Best to thee... | | | Someone Who Cares...
 | Clover --
I am pleased you cared for my notations. I love that sculpture. Interestingly, there is a copy of the very statue tht is now 'behind' the DOLLEY MADISON COURTS Bldg. (which is housed within the actual old homeplace of Mrs. Madison) - and, which is on the corner of Lafayette Park / diagonal from the Hay-Adams Hotel (just across the street from the White House!) NOW YOU ARE COMPLETELY CONFUSED. Trust moi - it is there!
I have a book on 'Clover'...and wish there were more photos of her on line that just this single pic. and its close-up.
Best to you and continued success on FIND A GRAVE. | | |
