Margarette Dell Lack
Hi Tina,
I am researching the Porter family and Margarette is part of the picture although not direct family to us. She had some children with Ernest M. Smith who earlier was married to Laura Alberta Porter - that is my connection and my wife is related to Ernestine Elizabeth and Mary Jane Smith, the two surviving children of Laura and Ernest Smith.
I have been trying to help Jenny Howard who you may have had contact with in the past.
I am wondering if you have any more information on Margarette, her husbands (particularly Nichols) and perhaps information on her relationship with Ernest Smith. I have Lloyd Eugene Nichols as a possible name, but cannot find anything on him and could use any more details like birth date, birth place, death, etc. Would also be interested in Margarette's parents, etc.
Please contact me at or you can leave a public message at Find A Grave.
Hope to hear from you. David

Have been trying to find you.
Dear Tina:
I was surfing around the internet and I can apon this website, and I typed in my sisters name, and WOW what a wonderful surprise. I am your Aunt Jeanne, the one in the picture holding Penny. I remember that picture we were on our way to church. I lived with you all for about 1 year after coming back to Calif, from back east. I am so glad to see the pictures of you all together, and for you to be with your Mother. I wish I could see the beautiful headstone you had made for her, it looks like it was designed with so much love. Aunt Nikki wrote to you also. I have tried to find you for years but the only phone number I had was from about 15 years ago. We would love to hear from you all if you wish, and if not that is alright also. Just to know you are all together and looking well is wonderful to us. You have never been far from our thoughts and always in our hearts. Take care my dears and my God bless you all.
Love always
Aunt Jeanne
