I'm an artist (painter/glassmaker)who resides in Oakland, California. I'm also a certified tour guide in San Francisco. I have been fascinated by cemeteries and the like since I was a child. I have travelled worldwide extensively and generally make it a point to pop in to the local cemeteries wherever I happen to be. Obviously, I've visited the graves of many famous folks-such as Lenin's tomb (a communist plot), all the greats at Pere Lachaise in Paris, Cementerio General in Santiago (astounding), and many,many others.
I worked for a time at Chapel of the Chimes historic mortuary and columbarium designed by Julia Morgan. I'm also a docent at historic Mountain View Cemetery next door.
