I'm a graduate of Leopold High School where my father served as Supt. of Schools and the consolidation of the Public School system in the 1950's. He went on to become the Bollinger Co. Supt. of Schools. I went on to graduate from the University of Missouri with dual degress in Business Education and English. |
Having grown up in Leopold, I know many of the grandparents, parents and children who reside in the local area much less the cemetery. As of 2006, I have posted with photos the majority of residents in St. John's Cemetery and have worked hard to find information about each person and hopefully linked them to their relatives.
I also have relatives in St. Francois, Washington, Franklin, Cape Girardeau, and Crawford counties. I try to post information I come across to those boards on findagrave or rootsweb etc.
Hopefully, many families will be blessed in the future by life history preserved for them.

I noticed you have posted a memorial for the Blytheville newer cemetery. Will you be doing more? I am trying to locate more information on a former pastor of our church: Rev. Bill F. Lambert (Oct 16, 1930 - June 17, 2009). His graveside services were June 22, 2009 in Blytheville, AR. I do have an obit for him from the funeral home here in Siloam Springs, AR. If you are able to post info on his burial site, I would appreciate it. THANKS for what you have done. I am also a contributor for findagrave.

Thank you for the additional information about Caroline's parents. I will study it in depth and cannot thank you enough for all your hard work and efforts.

Hi Mary: I will write a letter to the Catholic church and follow up. I was wondering if you would save me a ton of time and tell me the names of her parents that you found in the census....
so that when I write to the church, I can give them as much info as possible.
If not, it is ok.....I will try to find it on my own.
Ps I really enjoy reading the memorials that you have created. They are very informative and interesting. I wish I was from that tight-knit area of the world.

Hi- you created his memorial page and I have a question. He was widowed twice. His second wife was Christine. However......his first wife was Caroline Nenninger nee Lambrecht. I am trying desperately to find out where she is buried, since his death certificate says that he was widowed twice and outlived both of his wives. Caroline was my relative. Can you shed any light on this? I thought since you were from the area that you might be a good person to ask.
Thanks so very much-
