Katherine King
I don't know of any Katherine King buried in Burhart Cemetery. The dates you have are for Magdalene Siela King who was the wife of W.C. King my Grandfather.
Glad you are working the cemeteries. I try to when I'm up that way.

Col Charles Martin DOB?
Hi ... I'm new to researching my family tree, and am looking for information on Col Charles Martin of Rev. War Fame, which you have entered as memorial #61079503.

I'm puzzling over the DOB. You have it listed as 1763. Other places I've seen it as 1715. And if his wife, Elizabeth Burroughs, was born in 1745, the 1763 DOB for Charles puts them 18 years apart, and she only lived to 33 or so.

I'm trying to determine if this particular Charles Martin is part of my family tree, or if perhaps there are more than one who have been conflated in some family trees. (My relation would be through his granddaughter, Rachel Martin, who married Jonathan Trexler, of whom I'm a direct descendant.)

Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

Dear Linda-I am sorry that I may have gaven you the wrong FDG number for his Father and Mother. The correct number for Wilson is #8389693 and for his Mother "Polly" #8389761. Sorry to take so long to get this corrected. I've been away from this. Good luck on your book.

John Richardson
I took a photo of John Richardson's stone and tried to clear away the grass from the bottom so you could see the date he died. I also posted the dates as a caption for the photo. His date of death was Aug 3, 1822. It was fairly clear to read.

Carol Garnier Dutra
Robert Steven Garnier
Dear Linda here is the corrected biography for my brother Robert Steven Garnier. Please update the bio you have online for him.
Thank you,
Carol Garnier Dutra

Robert Steven Garnier was born in Lynn, Massachusetts and raised in Lynn Massachusetts in St. Patrick's parish where he served as an alter boy with his older brother Michael when both were children. While attending Classical High School Robert served in the U.S. Naval Reserve, and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Naval Reserve. Robert (Bob) enlisted in the US air Force during the Korean War, and served flying missions over the war zone in Korea dropping supplies to our ground troops. Robert's plane was fired upon by Korean ground fire, and crashed in a rice paddy. All aboard were killed except my brother but his back was broken from the plane crash. Bob was his nickname and later in life he took his middle name as a nickname hopefully for better luck in life, and called himself Steve. My brother was a Supply Sargent when he was honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force on disability. Robert Steven Garnier lived in Poughkeepsie, New York for over a year before moving to Washington D.C. where he worked in the Post Office. He then moved to San Jose, California. Robert lived in Campbell, California for several years. My brother Robert Steven Garnier died in a one-car automobile accident near Carmel Highlands, California. He was married on 25 June 1965 in Carmel Highlands to Linda Tally Garnier. No issue.
I miss my brother Bob dearly! He was only thirty seven (37) years old when he was killed.
