|Hi FINDAGRAVERS. Love researching. Especially family names like WALKER, RILEY, CRAIL, WATKINS, ASHURST, PURDY, BERRY, WILSON, BATES, POWELL, DAY, LINTON, RANDOLPH, LEWIS, WARNER, TALIAFERRO, THORTON, VINING and many earlier links. I am willing to transfer to relatives of someone within 3 generations but not of my own family listings and their ancestors.I don't get to get online very often so my response is not as often as I would like. Thank you for info you may share and your patience. Good Gravehunting!|

|HALL LOVING GENEALOGY||Keziah Coleman Crail Cem|
Hi! I don't know if I asked you this before or not, but where did you get information that Keziah was buried in Crail? Her husband Jonathan was, but according to records from the library in Beaver Falls, she was buried in Baker-Figley. See my memorial listed there. If you have definite proof, we'd love to see it. There are so many stories about them being moved, vandalism, etc. Thank you so much in advance! http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=34079689, Hope to hear from you soon.

I sent you some information on Amy Crail via her memorial before realizing Crail was in your name.
Amy's third and last marriage was to a William Crail. By chance do you know which William Crail that is?
I go back to Montana in the spring every year and I hope to stop at the library in Kalispell to look up the obituary for Amy. If I am successful, I will share it with you.
Thanks for any info you could provide me on which William Crail was her husband.

Hi Kaaren. Thank you for your response, and we in no way want to take anything away from you. You and I must be distant cousins (this is Kathy), and I honor your stance on societies. All of us are descendants of the Meriwether family, and many, like me, are also descendants of the Lewis family and others. Ultimately, we are thankful that a family member manages the memorial.

I am looking for information on my ancestor James Crail who married Elizabeth Bennington in aprox 1780 in Maryland. They moved to Kentucky where he died about 1790. I have searched for years for his family and have not come up with anything that seems to fit. I had someone reply to another post to say that James' father was Thomas Crail born 1720 in Scotland. His mother was Elizabeth Ann "Jane" Wilson. I have not come across anything to link my James to these parents. There are many trees on ancestry.com that have this information but no documentation. I have contacted others who have researched the same James Crail line and there seems to be little information that anyone can provide for this man. Do you have any information about the James Crail who married Elizabeth Bennington? This has been one of my brick walls for years. Any help would be very, very appreciated!

Jacob Hoffman 1760 to 1832 - William Hoffman was his son.
In 1853 Eliz, Julia Ann and Mary Hawkins (daughter of Henrietta Hoffman (Hawkins) went by wagon train with brother/Uncle William's family from Covington, IN. to settle in Jacksonville, Oregon.
William Hoffman was my great great great grandfather. He kept a diary when he came across the plains in 1853 with his family. The local Historical states that William came west three sisters. Your post above would seem to say he came west with two sisters and the daughter of another sister. I was hoping you could help me with a reference as to where you got that information.

I am looking for information about the William Hoffman family. In one of your records you posted that Mary Hawkins the daughter of one of Williams sisters came west with William in 1853. I have a copy of the 1853 diary of William and it seems to say that three sisters came west with William. If Mary came West, then it was two sisters and the daughter of one of his sisters. Do you know where you got this reference?
Thank you very much
