I have been working on family research for many years, and I've visited cemeteries looking for my family and my husband's family. I have posted all the related graves and photos and added them to virtual cemeteries. The vast majority of memorials I've added are for people not related to either of us. |
I enjoy photographing and documenting cemeteries, and I hope some of the memorials I add will help others with their family research.
Over the past few years, I have worked on documenting cemeteries in Dakota County, Minnesota, as well as adding photos to existing memorials.
I am also working on adding memorials for all the cemeteries and graves listed in 'Footprints in Time Tombstone Inscriptions in Tate County, Mississippi'. This book contains information for a lot of abandoned cemeteries, so I hope it will help someone looking for information on an ancestor.
If you have corrections for any of the memorials I've added, please use the Edit button on the memorial to submit your information. If you have questions, feel free to send me an email or leave a message.

MRS. ELIZABETH FOWLER
Last week Mrs. Elizabeth Fowler, mother of Mr. Mott Fowler, passed away from our midst to join the great throng above. She was ninety years old, but had only lived in this city about ten years. She leaves a daughter and son to mourn the loss of an affectionate and devoted mother.

First Thank you so much for transferring John Simpson and Sarah Strong Porter to me.
Second-I'm trying to link their dau in law- Evelyn Mae Howland #92144240 to her parents. I tried to do it through Janet Muff and although she agreed that Evelyn was of those parents- she said I needed to ask you to make the link. Here's the info-
Mary Ella Gaylord-Howland # 47677810 and husband Almon F. Howland #47677758 also had a daughter Evelyn Mae Howland.
Evelyn married Warren Withers Simpson July 30, 1924.
Warren Withers Simpson died Aug 23, 1932.
A widowed Evelyn is in the 1940 census with her parents in Waterford, MN.

Thank-you for your time and trouble.
|Rebecca Dodds||Thank-you and could you....|
First thank you for all the massive amount of work you have done.
Second, I would really appreciate it, if you could transfer the memorials for Sarah Strong Porter (# 92434443) and her husband John Simpson (# 92433941) to me.
I have added a great deal of info to them (and am working to add much more) as well as photos of them and have now sponsored both to be ad free.
I have made sponsored memorials for John Simpson's father- John Simpson b 1798, with photo, (# 160371038) and mother Alice (Elcy Palmer (# 160373063).
I have also made new sponsored memorials for Sarah's parents Moses Porter (#160611932) and Martha Alvord Snell (#160612019).
Martha's memorial has all the Moses/Martha Porter's family history (tied up intimately with Sarah & John's) with photos for Martha as well.
Sarah & John are my 2X great grandparents and I am currently the holder of the majority of our family history and photos. I'm pushing 70 and would like to get everyone in one place...
If you can't (or won't) transfer the memorials, please take a look at them, to read some interesting history about my folks.
Thanks again, Rebecca Dodds
|Brad Theissen||David Espenson|
Deborah - Do you know if David Espenson was buried in Cambria, in Sept 2013? He was a neighbor in Mankato, but my Mom knew him growing up around Judson.
