I have been actively involved in genealogy for 30 years and have thoroughly enjoyed the hunt. |
In addition to my own family, I've added memorials for people that I am not related to. These are most likely in Kentucky and Indiana. If one of these memorials is for your family member and you would like a transfer, please be sure to state your family relationship when requesting the transfer.
I'm always happy to make any corrections or additions to memorials. Please click on the Edit tab on the memorial when making a request.

|David M Rusk||William Rusk|
Hi there Sue, I wanted to see if you might be able to help me track down my great grandfathers.
There is a William Rusk, born 1815, died 1883, and he is listed in the Waveland Presbyterian Cemetery, memorial #104478598. I have been there and found his son, William T. Rusk, but not William Rusk from 1815. Do you know where in the cemetery I can find him or any other information about him personally (like a death cert)?
I am stuck on this relative. There are hard, concrete facts about William T. Rusk but I cannot seem to get much on his father William Rusk. He supposedly was born in Maryland.
Any help you could offer would be fantastic. I can be emailed at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you in advance ma'am!

Is she also buried in Waveland Presbyterian Cemetery?

He is not buried in Georgetown Cemetery. He was MIA/KIA and was probably lost in the North Sea. He is listed on the wall of the missing in Cambridge, England. He was simply shown on the headstone of his parents. I am his niece, Becky Rubke

We were uploading pictures this evening for the Percy Cemetery and realized there are two memorials for Minnie. Yours was the first one created and we thought you might like to know.

Thanks Sue. Another mystery solved.
|Gary & Bobbie Biermann||Karla Dorothea Biermann 117675965|
I’ve been agonizing over your memorial for Karla Dorothea Biermann (Find A Grave Memorial# 117675965) for some time now. Myself and a few family members have been trying to figure out who she is and who she’s related to with no success. I know that Lucille Wiechens has her information in Volume 3 of the Randolph County Cemetery series but I’ve concluded she transcribed this one incorrectly.
I believe that this Karla is instead my Grandfather’s baby brother Edwin Biermann (Find A Grave Memorial# 160694754). As you can see the dates are exactly the same and his parents are also buried in St. Paul Cemetery. Also, if you look at the curved line in the center of the stone I believe it says “Edwin” and that is not an “a” behind Karl but a symbol for “and”. I believe it says “Edwin, son of, Karl & Dorothea Biermann”
Would you please review this information and let me know what you think?
