I would be more than happy to transfer any memorials other than those I manage of my own family. Please use the Edit button to make sure I transfer the right person to you.|
Please feel 110% free to use any of my images for your personal use. However, I would appreciate a credit for the photographs so that other researchers can trace the image back to the original source.
I try to be as accurate as I can with my transcribing. If you see any mistakes, I'd be grateful for an edit. If you'd like to send me information to add to a page, please make sure you have done your due diligence. If you send me a date, you should have a source. That being said, there is a good chance that I will transfer the memorial to you because you now know more about that person than I do and will be much better equipped to deal with any future edits.
I have had a number of questions about when I took some of the photographs. Whenever I photograph an entire cemetery I do my best to compare the headstone information with a transcription of said cemetery when I am entering the information on Find A Grave. Below is a list of the cemeteries and the date when I photographed every visible headstone:
Saint Annes Church Cemetery, BC - Aug 12, 2012
Carmel Conception (new), SK - May 15, 2013
Golden Bay Lutheran, MB - July 25, 2013
Saint Ouens Pentecostal Cemetery, MB - July 25, 2013
Zion Lutheran, MB - July 25, 2013
Carmel Conception (old), SK - July 28, 2013
Oxbow Cemetery, SK - July 26 & 27, 2013
Oakland Cemetery, ON - Oct 3 & 6, 2013 (note: all headstones photographed but I did not photograph the large columbarium structure in the center of the cemetery)
Pangman Cemetery, SK - September 21, 2014
Ogema Cemetery, SK - September 21, 2014
This is a pastime of mine, so please understand if I do not get back to you right away.

Where is back home for you? My husband, granddaughter, and I came from Oregon to find some of my husband's relatives' graves. I had already taken the photos before I claimed the photo requests. We took photos on Sunday the 19th and claimed the requests on Monday the 20th. We didn't get home from our trip (we continued on to see family in Virginia and a daughter perform in Atlanta, GA at the Drum Corps International regional competition before returning to Oregon) on the 26th and just got rested enough to start uploading the photos today.
When were you there? If it was wet for you it sounds like it might have been Thursday or Friday (16th or 17th). My husband accidentally left a blue bag with tools to clean and clear debris from the stones and if you were there after the 19th he's hoping you might have seen it. He's contacted the authorities there about it so they don't run over it with their lawnmower and sustain damage.
We've posted the photos we took. If you discover that you have a better one for any of them feel free to add. I notice that one requester added five new requests on the 23rd. If you photographed all the graves then you can effectively fulfill those requests quickly. Thank you for the service of photographing all the cemetery. We were doing family history and had limited time with our granddaughter to be visiting 6 cemeteries, so we stuck with family names and known requests.
Appreciate the notice and your service.
Thanks, Kaleen Bennett

Hi Yolli: as ever you go above and beyond. Thank you so much for all the transfers and for dealing with the duplicate record. I agree she will have to correct the name, thought I would see if you did attach the picture and now for sure she will have to believe me when I say the women was married twice. Hugs to you and yours. Marianne

Your photo was so much nicer than mine that I removed mine. Great job with your photos.

Hi Yolli: I have been trying to enter my Hayter line in Oxbow Community Cemetery and see there are two memorials for the same person. One you manage #121301148 for Myrtle A. Maxwell and one High Plains manages #019018692 from Annie Myrtle Dreher (nee Hayter). I know these are for one and the same person as her first husband was Clyde William Dreher and after his death she married James Maxwell and it would appear she is buried with him. I believe High Plains posted her memorial first, which would I believe you to adjust your entry. Thank you, for all your postings, they have been much appreciated. Marianne

I dont have parents for annie but do have her maiden name as EVERETT. Parents for Stephen Gano are Cornelius Nevius and Elizabeth Gano.
I must have put the edit on the wrong Memorial
sorry. Thank You for catching it.

I was going by the Death certificate. Just one more example of them being inaccurate at times. I think you're making the right choice in going with birth records instead.

Thank you so much for all the transfers.
We do have a bit of information on most, if not all, and shall be adding this in the next day or two.
Great job on all the pictures taken!!
Thank you for your kindness in transferring the memorial for Frank Marchant but I have transferred it back to you as I have no connection. I just happened across some information while doing other research.
Thank you for all you do!

I can't thank you enough for getting a picture of my late husband's aunt's resting place. The angel in the corner of her monument truly portrays the type of person she was. No one was ever turned away from her table.
