Not too much to tell - I'm an amateur genealogy researcher and don't care to help out others with their research if I can. I'm retired and have some time available to do this. I believe that all burial grounds are sacred, and that each and every grave means something to someone.

I work mostly the western section of Washington County, TN.

My F-A-G work is somewhat limited. It goes in spurts. I enjoy trying to help folks out. It seems hard to get errors fixed, however. I continue to work locally and, if asked, I try to assist researchers. I work more on graveyard documentation, restoration, and preservation. I appreciate those of you who sent thank you messages, I truly do - you account for about 10 percent of the requests that I process. To the others, please think about your volunteers - they research the locations of the markers, often hike to family cemeteries thru brush and briars, we spend hours and dollars fulfilling requests - It is work and we take it seriously.

Rebecca L. Hatley Hayes
Wife of Robert Hayes and Mother of Nancy Hayes Bennett. Death record for Rebecca L. Hayes shows she died in Feb. 14, 1911 in Carter County Tenn. The record only gives R L Hayes but it is her. Been trying to find her grave. Probably buried close to her husband Robert Hayes. Can you help? Thanks. Gracie Gragg

Thank you Gordon for the help with the CSA soldiers. There will probably be several more over the next couple of weeks.

During some research today I came across some D.C. for some more people in the cemetery so I added them. Might want to take a look when you get time.
