Thank you so very much for the photo of Martha E Morris Whitfield unmarked grave beside her parents headstones. You are so very kind.
|Ouida Morris Price||Morris And Whitfield|
My name is Ouida Morris Price and Martha E Morris Whitfield is my great grand aunt and she is buried beside her father Joseph B Morris (1813-1888) and mother Mahalia Keeter Morris (1815-1880) in an unmarked grave.

These things can become confusing - even for those who are related to the Morris and Whitfield families. LOL
You've most likely figured this out, but just in case, here are the two records you've been so gracious to help me with:
Martha E. Morris/Whitfield (1843 - 1861)
is my 2nd Great Grand Aunt
Martha Whitfield/Morris (1841 – 1920)
is my 2nd great grandmother
Thank you again for all your help!

Thank you, Roger, for the headstone photo for Martha E Morris/Whitfield (at the Old Tate Cemetery). I believe you are correct about her being buried beside her parents. You've put in a lot of trouble and time for our family, and we greatly appreciate it! Bless you!

Thank you so much for the time and trouble you took to try and find my great grandmother's headstone. From family records we think she is buried in the Refuge Baptist Church Cemetery (her husband is also buried there, and we do have a photo of his headstone). However, just in case our family records are wrong (and since you couldn't find a headstone for her), I'll now start looking elsewhere but keep her memorial as it is until proof has been found for another burial site. Anyway, again, it was very kind of you to go to so much trouble and expense to try and find her headstone. We are very grateful that a total stranger would go to so much trouble. Bless you!
|Martha Halden||Rembert Hopkins|
Thank you for taking your time to photograph the grave marker of Rembert Hopkins.

Thanks much for your time & effort. Slowly piecing together the family history ... they were both born and raised in Massachusetts. Still trying to figure out how they ended up in Georgia? Perhaps a warmer clime? Thanks again, Barry Coombs, Saluda, NC
