RE: re: James Gearhart
I have placed the photo onto the memorial created by Mr. Patterson. And yes, this seems to be a problem. I have seen this before in other locations where two cemeteries have the same/ similar name. I had a fun time trying to straighten out memorials for two cemeteries in my home town in Butler County. It's not always easy, but Find A Grave is accommodating once they know you know what you're doing. And I had fun "relocating" my grandparents cemetery; not sure how/why, but someone had it located two counties away (some 50 miles). I wound up "care- taker" for that cemetery! I'm surprised they didn't make me caretaker for the two in my home town. Anyway, thanks for straightening this out. I don't like duplicates either; it just wastes needed computer "space".

RE: re Celesta Greene
Greetings MrsJB and Happy Holidays,
You have made such a great contribution in your selfless efforts to record these cemeteries in your area. I was going through my public messages and noticed this one and I can't recall if we ever addressed this issue. I think what we may be dealing with is simply variations in spelling. From the bio of her brother in a Kansas newspaper where he lived, it states that they received a common education in Springboro. Maybe spelling wasn't the forte'. The same holds true for sibling Melissa whose tombstone reads Malissa. None the less, somewhere online, inscriptions on some of the stones in this cemetery are recorded and Celesta or Calista's was recorded as the following:

D of John and Mary Casler
W of Charles H
best regards,

RE: More family information
One more question about Mary G Kapan. I know my aunt was married for several years and has 2 children. I believe her married name was "Martin" but I can no trace of that. Before I create a memorial for her I would definitely like to know what name she was using at her time of death. Do you know if any records show any use of the Martin name or only if she reverted back to he maiden name of Kapan?
Thanks again, Mike

RE: more Kapan information
Mrs JB
Sorry I forgot to answer your questions regarding I do not have access. I did start once a long time ago but let it lapse so not sure who put the information out there. Any information you can provide would also be greatly appreciated. One of Helen's children that I know follows the family is Gertrude Kozma (Kapan). While she is alive she is getting up there in years so not sure who provided the initial Ancestry info unless it may have been one of her children.

Thanks again, Mike Kapan

Mrs JB

Thank you so much for this info. Helen is my grandmother, Raymond her son and my father. Unfortunately never knew much about my father due to an early divorce from my mother. I will create a memorial for Helen thanks to your info.

Thanks again, Mike Kapan
