Family history researcher for over 45 years. Husband of Cindy Lou Fox m. 23 November 1986. His interest in genealogy was piqued by a great aunt, of whom he was very fond. She lived with his family during his early childhood and had done a good job of recording information when visiting the English cousins the Misses Badley at "Winterseeds" Grasmere, Westmoreland in the Lake District and their brother John Haden Badley. She also had great interest in heraldry and exhibited some skill at practicing this art.|
SPECIAL NOTICE: My wife passed away 2 1/2 years ago and since that my PTSD had kicked up worse than ever. It had been in remission for many years and I really thought it was gone. I am back on meds and regular counseling which is helping. I apologize if I have been inattentive to requests in this period, but it is not lack of interest. I am trying to work on Find A Grave several days a week for a few hours. I'm also back checking the Forum. Please in the future ONLY request transfers and edits that can be handled by the new edit tools on the memorial page there and ONLY there. They should not be posted on the stream here. In addition to the inappropriate requests here in the stream having been very active at one time the volume of requests can be overwhelming. Please if you request a transfer have it be in your direct line, not a fifth cousin's cousin. Please give your line of descent from the person and if it is not one where I have received more than one request from other descendants and if it is not one that I or my children or grandchildren are descended from I will certainly consider the transfer. Memorials are not a mater of OWNERSHIP, but STEWARDSHIP and as a good steward, I want to be sure that a transfer is in the best interest of the person being well represented and cared for. Ultimately I will re-write this bio and incorporate these additions, but for now I just wanted us to get on the same page! Please feel free to use any of my marker photos on Ancestry or any free site other than elsewhere on find-a-grave, but please post the following with the photo: Photo by Find-A-Grave.com contributor D.C. McJonathan-Swarm, used with his permission, all rights reserved. Lastly if your comment below has been removed, it is not ignored, but I have printed it out to respond to it. Please do not repost here. My email has always been listed here with my profile. If you have a comment or request, please if it is not covered in the Edit requests on a Memorial page, send me an email. Thanks, let's make every effort to work together here.
Your additions, corrections and photographs are always welcomed and will be added as soon as possible. For additional family information on any of these interments, please click on "Edit" in the upper right hand memorial. This way I will receive a link to the memorial together with the information which makes entry much faster. Should you have other questions don't hessitate to send me email.

|Base Kuhn||Hi bud|
I was wondering how you been these days. Haven't heard from you in quiet a while. Glad your doing okay. Sorry for the lost of your wife. Didn't know that. Well take care friend and hope you feel better.(Base)
Despite the spelling and the dates on the gravestone, I suspect that this is actually Angeline Alson (Thomason) Hulsey. Her husband, William Thomas Hulsey is also buried there. Her death is confirmed to have occurred at her home in Lick Branch, Boone, AR on 24 Jun 1934. DOB is shown as Oct 1855 in Wallace, Benton, AR but, as so often is the case with these things, that may be off.
Please don't transfer the memorial to me. People keep dumping memorials on me just because I try to help correct information.
|M. Aumen||RE: John C Hemler (1904-1972)|
Thank you so much for pointing this out, I feel so embarrassed. All of the information for my obituaries I include on the caption which is only visible if you click on the image. This obituary is from 1902, and is for a John C. Hemler who lived from 13/Apr/1872-3/Dec/1902, a son of George Y. Hemler (108336014). He would be an uncle to the younger John C. Helmer, who must have been named for his recently deceased uncle. I did some more research and additional obituaries state that the older John C. Hemler was buried in Conewago Chapel Cemetery, so I created a memorial for him here: (133945013). Thanks again for your help!

Hello, I was just wondering about your record for Jacob Joseph C Carty. Do you have any sources for the information that you posted? I have been trying to find John Henry Carty's parents, to no success. Thank you for your time and consideration.

|Jackie W.||Mary Utz Rummel|
The Mary Utz Rummel you have listed was born in Adams County, Pennsylvania possibly Gettysburg.
What is the reason that you do not transfer my three family members as you said you would? I first requested on July 23,2012 (And several times since) using the edit. The three are John Lapp #27917055, Anna Lapp #27917048, & Abram King #27917301! You already had my transfer Number (47683707) as well as their numbers!
