I enjoy genealogy, history, and lineage societies. I am in school full time, but when I get a rare chance, I traipse cemeteries. I tend to gravitate towards military headstones, freemason headstones, headstones for children/infants, and people born prior to 1930. At the time I joined Find-A-Grave, I worked full time and took headstone photographs on my lunch hour.|
I am HAPPY to transfer a memorial if I have made one for someone related to you! I love it when people find a member of their family or one of their ancestors. Please leave me a message with the person's name and memorial number. The only reason I would not transfer a memorial is if the deceased is one of my lateral or collateral ancestors, in which case I'll let you know.
PLEASE NOTE: In trying to take photographs of graves, I often have very little information except for what is on the headstone or slab. I always search for the person before adding the page (usually with as little information as possible to get as wide a variety as hits as I can), but sometimes variations on surnames don't come up, or sometimes the person is listed as buried in a different cemetery. I have been known to miss a page that was created earlier. If I have created a duplicate memorial, please let me know! It is NOT my intention to create duplicate memorials and I will be glad to delete my memorial if the deceased already has a page. If you have additional information for any memorial I have created, please let me know and I will be happy to add it. I try to process edits at least once a month.

Thanks for the transfer.

George Harrison O'Neal was married to my Great Aunt Pearl Florine Roberts O'Neal (sister to my granddaddy). Yes, I would love for you to transfer him to me.
|Edd Dorminey||RE: Henry Dorminy|
Nope, not my ancestor. I wrote a 900 page book on the Dorminy family so I traced everyone down that I could find. www.southgeorgiagenealogy.com
Thanks for your work.

It's no problem at all:) As I am working on my family tree I'm just sending in edits if I happen to notice duplicates or missing links to make it easier for the next person - so thank YOU for taking your time to work on these memorials!
|Kyran Safrit||RE: Pvt. Byrd Owens|
No need to delete the memorial maybe it will help someone find him. I think whoever created the other memorial just assumed he and his wife were buried in the same cemetary as his parents. I'm just a user of findagrave so I am clueless how to do a merge. I'll just add the links for his parents & wife to your memorial so that it will tie both Byrd Owens memorials together. Thanks for responding!!

You added a photo to the memorial that I made for William Lee Ellis in Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial # 45690532
Birth: Nov. 14, 1842
South Carolina, USA
Death: May 27, 1902, USA [Edit Dates]

Mary Gazaline Lamar Ellis (1844 - 1922)*
I really appreciate you adding it. But it doesn't match the dates for my William Lee Ellis. Your photo has 1870 - 1957. I see that there is another memorial with these dates for a William Lee Ellis. Would you please switch your photo to that memorial? Again, thank you for taking photos and sharing.

|Renae Smith||RE: Lewis & Margaret Groce|
Thank you so very much, Sherrie. I can't wait to view Lewis's tombstone. I have walked through many a cemetery looking for my ancestors. I think it is wonderful that you take the time to do this for others!! Have the rest of a wonderful summer.

Thank you so much for taking and adding the photos for George. Please know that your time and efforts in finding his grave, then photographing, and then posting, are very appreciated. The photos are very clear.
