I enjoy genealogy, history, and lineage societies. I work full time, but I often use my lunch hour to snap photo requests in nearby Rose Hill Cemetery. While there, I have a habit of photograph random headstones to see if they need memorials or photographs. I tend to gravitate towards military headstones, freemason headstones, headstones for children/infants, and people born prior to 1930.
I am HAPPY to transfer a memorial if I have made one for someone related to you! I love it when people find a member of their family or one of their ancestors. Please leave me a message with the person's name and memorial number. The only reason I would not transfer a memorial is if the deceased is one of my lateral or collateral ancestors, in which case I'll let you know.
PLEASE NOTE: In trying to take photographs of graves, I often have very little information except for what is on the headstone or slab. I always search for the person before adding the page (usually with as little information as possible to get as wide a variety as hits as I can), but sometimes variations on surnames don't come up. If I have created a duplicate memorial, please let me know! It is NOT my intention to create duplicate memorials and I will be glad to delete my memorial if the deceased already has a page. | |

 | Elizabeth Napier Thanks for taking this photo. I don;t know what your age is or what kind of music you listen to but Elizabeth Reed Napier is the very one in the Allman Brothers' Band song "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed"Added by Paul1957 on Jun 11, 2013 4:58 PM | | | Chet Walker
 | RE: Jones Photos Thank you so much for the transfers. I have them all linked up now. This has added a nice piece to my family tree! | | | Chet Walker
 | RE: Jones Photos Thank you again so much! All of the Jones you photographed are in my family tree. Any you would like to transfer would be welcomed! | | | Chet Walker
 | RE: Jones Photos Thank you so much. There were 6 Jones brothers who all were in the Civil War-one of which is my great grandfather so all of those Jones are related. (I have only one photo of them but it is an amazing one of all six brothers in uniform together!) | | | Chet Walker
 | Jones Photos Thank you so much for the gravestone photos of my ancestors. May I have your permission to use on my ancestry.com family tree? | | | ChezaRayne
 | RE: Profile Photo Thanks, Sherrie; I suspect my John McGee, died rather young as his wife married into my family with only the 7 year old child, Pleasant. Since this was through marriage, I haven't research him past that point in time or place in SC. To be honest I was surprised when you gave the name and I did actually have a connection with it. There was just something about the picture that drew my attention to it. Funny how that happens sometimes. :) Cheza | | | ChezaRayne
 | RE: Profile Photo Actually, I am related to a McGee or Gee through marriage. I believe it is a John McGee out of South Carolina though. The date would be late 1700s to early 1800s. He would have married a Barbara 'Barbary' Turner. They had one son by the name Pleasant Gee or McGee. Do any of these names fit into your Georgia McGees? | | | ChezaRayne
 | Profile Photo May I ask who is portrayed on your profile page? It's a nice picture and I know you have posted a few people that are related and am curious if this is someone I might have in my tree. Thanks, ChezaRayne | | | Joe Stoner
