I started researching my family roots on my mother's side in Aug 2010 after seeing a small family tree about this side of my family that I knew little about. I soon became hooked on genealogy research!
I found Find a Grave Oct 2011 and now I'm getting hooked on Find A Grave! Most weekends will find me photographing in one of the many cemeteries near by. I don't know how long this latest addiction will last, but for now I am loving exploring and photographing.
So much so, that I'm lagging behind in getting photos uploaded. If I've created a memorial though it means I do have a photo and plan to upload it as time permits. Please ask if you don't see a photo for a memorial you're interested in and I'll be glad to upload it right away!
Please note I will only be able to create links and make additions or corrections to memorials that are requested via the EDIT TAB. I have too many now to manage it any other way. Simply go to the memorial you want transfered, click on the EDIT tab above the grave photo, click in "Suggest a correction or provide additional information" and then follow the instructions for requesting a transfer. Thank you!

 | Emma, Gertrude, Millie Glassel/St. Croix Falls Cemetary Thank you so much for the headstone photos and looking for William's. He's my mother's uncle. She thought that he was brought back from Canada where he passed away and buried with his family. She's going to contact his son to find out for sure where he is. Thanks again for your time and photos.

 | The Heck Family I am researching this family on behalf of a great-great grandson of Jacob Heck of Indiana who was a younger brother of Philip Ludwig Heck of Wayne County, NY.
I would like to please know:
1) do you have the Civil War records of those Hecks of Wayne County who served? 2) do you have any photos or sketches? 3) Where is Philip Ludwig Heck buried?
I am willing to share when I have on the other Heck lines.
Thank you, Margaret in NJ gop.gal@verizon.net | | | C. Carter Kahler

 | Lakeview Cemetery I don't live near there, so have no plans for adding pics. I'll be looking forward to getting some SACs from you, as there are always a few typos or omissions in the lists I use. | | | | [View all messages...] |
