I am looking for a grave for Jackson J. Edwards. He was born in 1815 in Franklin, GA. He died in 1883 in Smith County, MS. He had a son named James Jackson (Doc) Edwards who died 2 Jan 1924 and is buried in Summerland Baptist Church Cemetery, Smith, MS. From ancestry.com, all records indicate he died in Smith, MS but I have not been able to find a grave site. His father was Issac Edwards and he is buried in Phillips Cemetery, Philadelphia, Neshoba, MS. He died 13 Nov 1845.
My wife, Barbara Gail (Malone) Edwards and I are working together under one membership. Her relatives are Malone, Steinwinder, O'Flynn (sometimes spelled O'Flinn) and Finnegan. Most relatives lived in Lauderdale, Jasper, Forest and Chickasaw counties.

I don't know why he is buried in this cemetery. Perhaps this is a different Lee E. Craft and not your cousin? I tried to find an obituary for him, but was not successful. Maybe he married a Pennsylvania woman? Have you contacted his family to ask? Sorry, I cannot help you, I just added this memorial since a headstone for Lee E. Craft is in this cemetery. I don't know anything about him.

I have no idea how I came across the memorial to leave a flower. I have no connection to this family. If I come across any information I will let you know.

I wish I knew, if I find any information on them I will let you know. He was my Aunt Grace's 2nd husband and I did not know him or his family. I do know that there are 2 sets of Easterlings around Polkville. Some are buried in the old Polkville Cem. Betty

Hey Charley, I sent a change request to ALC to change name and link to parents. She wants more information to verify that this is Columbus Morgan Bynum. The stone has "She" in the inscription. I posted his WWI draft card.

Wondering about your suggested correction on above memorial. I would assume from WWI draft card that Columbus Morgan is male but stone inscription says "SHE believed and sleeps in Jesus." Do you have any insight into family? Could it be an error on stone inscription? Will await your answer before making suggested corrections.

Could you verify for me the above as being correct as you have this in your tree also.

Do you know who were the parents and grandparents of Jasper Jones?
Thank you for your help.
