Bio and Links
Bio Photo I inherited the genealogy bug from my mother. I ran across F.A.G. while trying to find information on ancestors. I believe F.A.G. is a wonderful site to find missing family links.

When photographing, I go row-by-row. I am not a greedy request-claimer who will go out, take a single pic, and run back to post it. From a genealogy perspective, I want to know if there are other family members in the cemetery that I may not already know of. Also, if someone has previously posted a pic of the headstone and I get a better one (I am using a HD camera), I will add mine as well.

If you would like me to transfer management of a memorial, please send me the request, and your relationship to that person. I try to transfer to family members if possible!

***** If you send me a message stating "this memorial is a dupe, please delete," please make sure the other memorial has at least as much information and pics as the one in my control. Otherwise it will remain as-is!!!

****If you would like me to add an obituary to a person, you MUST provide me with citation information!!!!!!!!

Mary Louise Vieth
I am seeking information about Mary Louise (Traeger) Vieth (1852-1937, wife of Frederick A. Vieth. I believe she may be the daughter of Carl Gotthlieb Traeger and Johanna Christina (Drinsch)Traeger, as well as a sister to Carl August (1843-1913), John F. August (1845-1934), and Ernst H. Traeger (1846-1923). All these Traeger's were born in Germany. If you have any information on this family, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thank you for your help. --Rosemary Trager Matthews

Denney Family
We are friends of the Denney family and understand the Fairbury Cemetery would like to add coordinates to the grave sites so people can locate. Do you know if other cemeteries do this? We go to Fairbury quite often and could meet if you are in that area.

Ruth Ann Comstock Cook Memorial #111496520
Hello I am asking that you please transfer over this memorial and or at least the pictures to memorial # 39877584. This is my great grandmother and i had posted my post back in July 25, 09. Yours was not done until May 30, 2013. There has been a lot of relatives stating that her birth date was different dates. If you would be so kind to do all of this i would be very greatful. If you look at my page of her you will see her children and husband as well. Thank you for taking the time to look into this.

Thank you
Hello. I wanted to thank you for taking a picture of my grandfathers headstone #110775001. I was very young when he passed away and was not even aware of where he was buried. I came across the picture while doing research with my son on ww2. Thank you.

RE: Leslie Halek
Thank you, Melissa, for your quick reply and understanding about his boy and his two headstones and two memorials. Yes, I will try to find out more about the caretaker and/or cemetery association for the Fairbury Cemetery. My mother and grandparents are buried in New Tabor Cemetery in Republic County so I might be able to find someone who can work from that end too.

I plan to put a Note on my memorial that a duplicate memorials exists (with the memorial number) and that we are trying to find out which was the original burial site and if the body itself was moved.
