martin miller rhea co buttram cemetary
I have 2 books that were published by the rhea county historical society. For years they went and mapped our cemetaries. The information they gathered were from actual stones, funeral home records and newspaper obituaries. These 2 books were published in 1999 and 2000 and were current with all information at that time. I have photographed buttram entirely thru october 2012. I am currently posting photos but it is time consuming. If mr. Miller or other millers there have a stone or marker I will try and locate the photo and post it asap for you. Unfortunately there are alot without markers or they are 2 old to read, but I will see what I can do please check back in a few days

Thanks

Vaughn & Calvery
Dear S. C.:
I am not related to either. I live in the Chicago area. I was born in Prentiss Co, MS, but have lived up here since I was 4.

I have copies of both Alcorn & Prentiss Co., Cemetery books and as a volunteeer entered the data to find a grave site.

You can go to their site and request a photo of the memorial.

My maternal great grandparents and many of my cousins are buried in at Union Cemetery.

On my Dad's side of the family one of his first cousins married James Elton Calvery and they are buried at Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Alcorn Co, MS. Not sure if Elton is part of your Calvery line.

If so, let me know your e-mail address.

If you are related to the Vaughn buried at Union, I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you.

Sincerely,

Jim Killough

McLains at Shiloh Pres
I received you email via FindAGrave. I'm sorry I'm not related to the McLains. I photographed this cemetery while fulfilling a request for another grave. I added what information I could regarding the family. I'll be glad to transfer this memorial (or others) to you if you'd like to add additional information. Paula

Mae Davenport Cox
Bowers Family
I'm trying to track the Bowers families who lived in southern Cleveland County and southern Pottawatomie Counties back in the early 1900s. Namely, James Henry Bowers and William Sanford Bowers... Can you help me with information on these folks?
