Live in Eastern Mass. Looking for gravestones from places as varied as New England, New York, Pittsburgh, PA, New Jersey, Ohio, Louisville and Glasgow, KY.|
My two family history blogs can be found at From Maine to Kentucky and A Jewish Genealogy Journey.
I enjoy photographing tombstones in Jewish cemeteries. For help in reading Hebrew, I suggest JewishGen's Reading Hebrew Tombstones at http://www.jewishgen.org/InfoFiles/tombstones.html.

You are the hero to so many; thank you for all the photo requests you have fulfilled so quickly. Much to my sheer delight, just 1 day after posting my request for Beth El in WR you were there and got a stunning picture of a marker that is almost 100 years old.
You are a sainted person for doing so many acts of kindness for so many! Surely there is a special place for you at the right hand of G-d, one day.
My total gratitude and appreciation,
Thanks so much for the picture!

I think you're right, the one had month and day right but wrong year, the other had year and month right but date of burial two days off from the date on the stone. I've re linked the two with photos and deleted the extra.
Thanks for getting the shots and for the heads-up!

Holy Cow! You made my day! After a "Total Drama Friday" I was looking for some good news and you found the grave with not one, but both names I was searching for. Thanks so much! Dorie Cohn
|LoveTrees||RE: Jakob Sereisky in Pultusker|
Thank you for letting me know that he is the only Sereisky buried there.
Thanks so much for getting me that photo. With all the different spellings of the family name, it is so important to me to have the pictures of the stones.
I wish you a wonderful weekend.

Elizabeth, thank you for the photo of Morris Silverman's headstone. Unfortunately, not my great-great-grandfather, but only seeing the headstone has confirmed this (based on the age noted thereon). Thank you very, very much for your assistance!
