|Christa Isom||Baker Photos|
All the photos are up on the memorials and I have some things to send you. They're legal sized documents/death records I found in the Camden library on our Bakers. I'd scan them and email them to you, but my scanner doesn't like that size. If you'll email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and send me your address, I'll get some copies off to you. :)
A couple more things. The owner (who knew everything on our Bakers) said Zachariah's full name is Alchemus Zachariah Baker! How cool is that! And my Joe is there too. He was Alcey's son from William and he's down as J.W. Baker. Joseph William Baker. Cloud nine today ! ;)
Hope you are doing well!
|Christa Isom||Found Zachariah Baker!!!|
Long story....awful, awful divorce, custody issues, etc in the last year, but my son and I are in Benton County and drove to Nashville yesterday and found our Bakers! I have lots of pics I will upload and send you when I get home and an amazing story for you. Toooooo much to type on my phone. BUT the couple living there (cem is in their FRONT YARD!!!) has a Baker book they're going to send me and it explains all about Alcey and how she married BROTHERS!! William and Zachariah! We thought so and now we have proof!! When I get the book I'll copy the whole thing and send it to you! I'll email the pics to you when I get home late Sunday night or early Monday.
|Elizabeth H||RE: Barber photos|
Catherine Barber's name (and date of 1920) appears on the stone for William (on St Johns Ave, Section 8). Your request indicates she is buried with Michael and Helen (on St Patrick Ave, Section H). Let me know which photograph you would like me to upload for Catherine.
|Jack Hollis||Samuel Knightton|
There are two Samuel Knighton burials in Shiloh Cemetery. I had entered one of them which was a child born in 1881 and died in 1882. There was no tombstone at the grave when read in 2003. There still isn't one. The person who photographed the grave of the older Samuel Knighton is the person who fouled this up.I hope I have straightened this out for all concerned. From this, I learned one thing of educational value. The older Samuel Knighton was the first burial in the Shiloh-Buckner Cemetery. I had previously thought that Easter A. Hutchinson who died in 1864 was the first burial.

I have made the correction to Burrell's birth date.
Thanks for letting me know.
