Bio and Links
Bio Photo I feel these memorial should be maintained by family whenever possible. With that in mind, if I am not personally related to the person, I will be happy to transfer the memorial.

I spend most of my free time working on my Family history and find roaming old cemeteries is amazing. Some of the headstones I see are nearly unreadable, some are eroded to the point they can no longer be read. This saddens me knowing they are lost forever, no one will ever know who they were. By taking photos and sharing the info, maybe someone who is searching will find who they are seeking.

RE: 3 Memorials to you!
Thank you so much for the transfers! I did not find out anything yet. I contacted the St. Joseph Catholic Church and was told their records only went as far as the 1930's to 40's in some areas and couldn't find their names. The front desk lady volunteered to go the the cemetery and look if I gave her a picture of an area where I thought they could be. I wouldn't know since I've never been to Texas. By any chance would you remember where you thought you might have seen Carlos Tarango's possible grave? close to Senovia? If the local church doesn't have this information I wonder if The mormon church would have the record on film.
Hope all is well for you,

RE: hollander
What you hadn't considered is that all of the data for the Albert Hollander after he abandoned Dulcie and his daughter is entirely invented. There is no record of an Albert born c1880 in Cleveland or anywhere else on any census until 1930 as this new identity claims. According to his sister Martha Coats, he had contacted one of his brothers in Cisco in the 1950's.

RE: re: Missing Hollander
This doesn't make any sense. Whose middle name was Charles? How can he be Albert Curran Hollander if his middle name is Charles? I've researched this line for 50+ years and I am positive of my research,
having gained membership in the Sons of the American Revolution 1972 on Martha Breedlove's grandfather's war service.

TJ Shadden
Yes, TJ is Thomas Jefferson Shadden. He was my gg-grandmother's husband when she died, so I thought she might have been buried near him. I have the same info, and lack of info, as you do. No death record or burial, and Henrietta, TX is the last place I have for him.
Well, darnit. If I ever find anything about him, I'll share it with you!
Thanks for answering my questions. :)

Thomas Jefferson Shadden
Hi Wichita,
Do you happen to know where TJ Shadden (1884-1921) is buried? I can't find him online, and I have a notion that if I can find his burial, I might be able to find my gggrandmother's as well. She was perhaps his 3rd or 4th wife, Nora. She died in 1908 or 1909. I can find no death cert or index for her, and since she was married 3 times, I haven't any idea which husband she may have been buried near. I thought perhaps TJ might be the one.
Thanks for reading!

Thank you for adding the handsome photo of Ada's headstone to her memorial. May I have permission to use the photo for family history purposes?

God bless,

RE: Missing Hollander
I am positive that this Albert Curran Hollander was the son of Thomas Curran Hollander 4 Feb 1868 - 18 Aug 1916 and wife Lula Gray 2 Jan 1870 - 21 Jan 1962. The name of Curran came from Curran Kyle, the husband of Emma Breedlove who was the sister of Martha Breedlove that married William McRae Hollander who was the father of Thomas Curran Hollander. The name of Curran is quite popular in this line of Breedlove's. I've been researching the Breedlove family for 50+ years as I am descended from Emma and Martha's brother William.

RE: Missing Hollander
Albert moved to Orange City, Orange Co., TX where he is listed with 2nd wife Grace Evelyn in the 1939 City Directory. He died there in 1963 and Grace in 1974, both buried together in Evergreen Cemetery in Orange City.
